Do you have a training facility?
Not right now.
We do in home visits or meet in the middle for training sessions as we prefer to work outside. We want to train pups to listen better and more consistently outside (outdoors is where it gets difficult for them). Hope this helps!

Felix is naturally stubborn and rambunctious and over our 6 classes, we both received much needed personal instruction and it made a huge difference. Felix is not my first dog, yet I learned so many things I hadn’t known to do with my other furry companion. The classes are an investment of time and patience but I will be enjoying the benefits for the rest of my time with Felix. Thank you Back to Basics!

After a lot of research and trainer interviewing I knew I had found the right fit for my VERY stubborn and active puppy.
Wen and the entire team at Back to Basics is welcoming, caring and completely hands on. I felt confident in my little guy learning how to be less Husky/Shepherd mix crazy and more good boy. That confidence was proven right.
My pup came so far in a matter of days that I was absolutely amazed. He was like a new dog and let me tell you, walks became a complete joy as opposed to the workout/mini nightmare session they used to be before Wen. Nipping , jumping on people and even potty training was no longer an issue.
I received homework and videos everyday showing what he was working on so I could practice with him to keep the good manners and habits going far beyond the training sessions.
If you are looking for a trainer, Wen and Beyond Basics is without a shadow of doubt the only one you will need. We love her and cannot thank her enough.

Jenn was so great helping us learn better ways to work with our dog. She was always on time and brought lots of props and engagement so we got the most out of each class. She checked on us during the week to see if we had questions. Super grateful for her expertise!

We have a great puppy but were really struggling with the nipping and biting, among other things. Wen Tze came over for one session and gave us tips - 3 days later the nipping was done. We put him in board and train as well and he’s come back an incredibly polite, well behaved dog. We would recommend ANYONE to Wen Tze. She is a rockstar and we are so happy with our experience, as is Logan!!

We had one on one sessions and couldn’t rave enough. We absolutely loved our time with Aunt Jen :) she was so knowledgeable and straight forward. She was kind and gave us so many tips to not just do well during our sessions but to succeed after they were done. Definitely recommend back to basics for all your dog training needs!
