FirstBarkWe brought our 4 month old beagle (Tobi Wan) here and (Jedi Master) Jenn was amazing. She listened to what we were looking for and was always there if we had questions throughout the week. Not only did he learn, but we learned too so we had everything we needed to continue his training into adulthood.

Do you have a training facility?
Not right now. We do in home visits or meet in the middle for training sessions as we prefer to work outside. We want to train pups to listen better and more consistently outside (outdoors is where it gets difficult for them). Hope this helps!

The time and money for the puppy training course was worth it. Doing it in our home was very convenient and Madi was experienced and able to provide good direction to us and our puppy along the way. I reached out to Back to Basics for help with my 9 month old maltese puppy who knew some basic obedience but was showing increasingly worse leash reactivity to other dogs in the busy area I live in. Jenn was great in helping me build a strong foundation with my dog to help him develop his "off switch" and taught he some super helpful tricks and games to get him into more of a follower mentality. After 5 lessons he is much improved and I have the tools to keep working with him and developing him into a happy and confident pup. Back to Basics was also very responsive in answering any questions I had in between lessons. Thanks Jenn!
Our dog emerged with new habits and a solid foundation for us to continue building upon. Place, sit/stay, off!, loose-leash walking, heel and the rest of it. Good personalized training of dog owner as well!
