Back To Basics Dog Training

We had the best experience working with Jenn from Back to Basics! From session 1 we could tell she really knew her stuff and she quickly got to know us and our dog, Poppy, so she could personalize training. We had already done some basic training with Poppy, but Jenn was able to help us tighten up what she already knew and teach her (and us) some really useful new commands. We saw improvement quickly, and Poppy is now more responsive on walks and has more tools to calm herself when guests come over. Highly recommend Jenn- she was kind, knowledgeable, and super helpful!

I luckily came across Wen Tze and Ermias at Back to Basics while searching for training help for my 3 year old Schnauzer/mutt sibling pups who constantly pulled on walks and barked/yelped at other dogs. Ermias was very professional and came prepared with a plan catered to me and my two very co-dependent dogs over a five week course. I can now successfully walk past other dogs without them creating a scene and both of my dogs are much more attentive to me with basic commands unlike they ever have been prior to formal training. We decided to reach out to Wenz for personal training since we already brought our puppy to Posh Pet Club daycare. We talked with her on what we wanted to work on and Wenz ended up helping us with each thing. Our biggest issue was we wanted to be able to take our dog on walks and not feel like she was out of control. I now feel like I can walk her anywhere! It was the best decision we could’ve made for our pup! Wenz does an amazing job personalizing the training to your particular dog’s needs. We would highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my goldendoodle in a two-week training program with Wen, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. Prior to the training, my dog struggled significantly with focusing, especially around other dogs. His anxiety and lack of attention made walks and social interactions quite challenging.
