Back To Basics Dog Training

My husband and I worked with Jenn to begin basic obedience training with our new puppy. She came in home and worked so well with both us and our pup. She gave us every tool that we could possibly need to succeed, taught us what to do/say and how frequently to practice, has been an ongoing resource when we have questions and has helped us feel so equipped to live life with a puppy and help him become the best dog he can be. I am so impressed with the progress that we've seen with our pup at only four months old. Within five weeks he is pulling on the leash less, knows sit/stay, down, leave it, is potty trained, and has started working on place AND drop it. We even feel like we can solidify the commands that we didn't solidify in the five weeks independently because Jenn's instruction was so clear and easy to follow. We would recommend working with Back to Basics a million times over and know we will have a long-standing relationship with both Jenn and the rest of the back to basics team!

I had such a great experience with Wen. My dog is a generally well behaved border collie, but had some issues with barking and obedience, particularly when guests come over. In just 4 weeks he is nearly perfect in stopping barking when commanded to do so and has learned many new commands that he is already very consistent with. I couldn’t be happier with the training and would highly recommend this service.

We used Back to Basics and worked with Wen on basic obedience with our 6 month old puppy. Couldn’t recommend her more! She covers everything from obedience, potty training, house manners, to routines. She tailors each session to exactly what your dog needs and sets you up with the skills necessary to continue training on your own. Not only does she provide results in training, but it’s easy to tell that she cares about each client and setting the dogs and families up for success in the long run. We will definitely use her again if needed in the future!
