Back To Basics Dog Training

Wow! I can’t say enough about Jenn from Back to Basics! She is just so lovely and knowledgeable. I brought my senior terrier Buddy in for some behavior issues we’ve been having. In only 6 sessions Buddy was so much more cool, calm and collected I was truly amazed with the results. We’re still practicing our new moves and Buddy just gets better and better with every passing day. And let’s be honest, I am too. I needed more training than my dog did! And Jenn is a very patient and gentle human trainer as well. Your bond with your best friend can be so much more meaningful and chill. And Jenn from Back to Basics can and will change the both of your lives forever. Highly recommend!

I'm so happy that a friend recommended Back to Basics training and specifically MJ to train Bodie, our 2 year poodle and me. Working with her has given me the confidence and tools that I need to continue to help Bodie live his best life with our family. He and I both have made such positive progress after our 5 sessions. We've seen a big difference in his behavior when our kids and granddaughter come visit and when we're out on walks with other dogs. MJ is kind, smart, supportive and very patient. We had our new puppy train with Wenz while we were boarding him for the weekend at Posh Pet Club. Wenz was so communicative and supportive in setting up the plan for the weekend. Our puppy received excellent training and Wenz shared pictures and videos with us of what she was working on with him and instructions for how to continue the work with him when he returned home. Since we've been home our puppy has made clear progress in the areas Wenz was working on with him (stay, walking on a loose leash, and less reactivity to people/dogs). It was also easy to follow the videos and instructions she shared with us for how to continue the work with our pup! So thankful to Wenz and the team at Posh Pet Club for taking such good care of him and for setting us up for success as we continue to train our puppy! Highly recommend Wenz and her team!

I believe that the most important attribute in a relationship is how someone shows up in it. Wen Tze is a great trainer, and more importantly she is a great human being. After all... "no one cares what you know until they know that you care." And Wen Tze does. My dog, Ryder, is reactive (lunging and barking), and a relocation made the issue worse as it's tougher to get away from stimulus in the new location. I chose her based on the fact that her reviews about reactivity are plentiful. In addition to those before me, Wen Tze taught me how to keep Ryder's focus on me as opposed to everything around him. Further, I appreciate that she is very responsive and willing to support me as I continue to work with Ryder. She provides a lot of value in exchange for the fee that she charges. In a day and age where doing good business seems to have gone by the wayside it is heartwarming to find Wen Tze. She is a stellar example of a good business owner. I highly recommend her services based on my experience with her.
