Balance Together Dog Training

Karina is simply amazing! I was scrolling through Facebook one day and her account came up an ad. I always wanted to get in touch with a trainer for my golden retriever, and my boyfriend’s dog a blue heeler. The prices were always out of budget. But I decided to wing it and message her! From there on out, we never looked back and no regrets at all! Her prices are very reasonable and you truly pay for what you get. We started with private lessons for my golden retriever, where she was able to learn recall rather quickly! After seeing the success we made in just private lessons with my golden girl, I decided to have my boyfriend send his dog to some lessons as well since he is a very anxious dog. Karina has worked with both dogs now, and everything she does is amazing! While on vacation I sent Nova (my golden girl) to her for a 10 day board and train. I was anxious about leaving her, but Karina made sure to send out a daily report card of her day, and posted her on her instagram! If you need a trainer, Karina is your person! Her communication is great, she shows the same love to each dog she has, and makes sure that as owners we are also educated!

If you are wondering “should I do the private trainer route?…” do it. Karina was wonderful to work with. My dog is generally well mannered and friendly. He knows a lot of commands and picks up on training routines. However, we have been struggling with his impulse control and mood stabilization-for example he gets very aroused/excited and has a hard time calming back down. I have read TONS of dog training and behavior recommendations online. Doing research yourself is fine and it has helped, but having Karina, and her insight, involved was a lifesaver. She read my dog’s individual signals and communications (and also showed me, so that I can read his behavior, in real time, more accurately as well) and helped us tailor some training strategies that are suited for his personality. In just a few days of following her suggestions, I have already seen him responding. We feel very optimistic for the future. I am so thankful for her expertise and I highly recommend her services.

Karina is a life saver. I have the sweetest snuggle dog that was aggressive towards strangers and dogs that walked past our home. My dog had anxiety out of fear. My baby stayed with Karina for a 21 day boot camp. It was hard for me to leave him and it was hard for him to adjust to being there. He had never been away from home before. I had a lot of reservations but this was the best decision I have ever made. My baby came home with controlled reactive behavior. Im not nervous about who might walk by when we go outside anymore. We have so much more freedom and can walk to public areas. She did such a great job, we’ve hired her to help train our second dog who is super excited and has a hard time calming down. I’m thankful we found her and I highly recommend her.

Karina did a board and train for our 7 month old dog Moxi for six days while we were on vacation. We received multiple pictures and videos each day from Karina showing the exercises they worked on and the progress Moxi was making. Moxi made noticeable improvement in settling, loose leash walking, and reactivity. We even received a tailored document afterwards on things we could work on at home. We’d highly recommend Karina for boarding and/or training and will continue to work with her as Moxi gets older!
