I couldn’t have asked for a better dog trainer than Courtenay. She was incredible from day one and always quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Throughout the training, she consistently kept me updated with progress and photos, which I truly appreciated. I am beyond impressed with the results. My dog came back so well behaved it’s hard to believe it’s the same dog. Courtenay has made not only my life better, but my dog’s as well. Thank you for everything you did!

Our 5 year old 70# part Australian shepherd rescue dog (Opal) that we’ve had for over a year has nipped several visitors. We live in the country and like her to be somewhat of a watch dog but not an aggressive one. Plus, we now have toddler aged grandchildren coming over so it had to be stopped. We asked around, read reviews and called 3 or 4 places, Balanced Breakthroughs was our choice and it was a Good one! Courtenay came to our house, met us and Opal , checked her environment out and explained Opal’s 2-4 week training program to us. We both felt comfortable and confident and signed on with Balanced Breakthroughs Dog Training. Two weeks later, Courtenay brought Opal back. We reached out to Balanced Breakthroughs Dog Training after being extremely exhausted with working with our Rhino. We felt like we tried everything with no progress. We would watch endless videos of “how to” when training our dog but nothing seemed to work. We had a long list of problems we noticed was growing and we knew we needed professional help. After a month of board and train with Balanced Breakthroughs Dog Training and talking with Courtenay it was like night and day. Rhino listens, commands come easy to him. It’s like “he just gets it”.
