Balanced K9 Training

My husband and I never had a dog of our own as adults. We found a dog that was a rescue from Texas that was dropped off in the woods and we were thinking of taking him in but he was wild, did not listen, hyper and stubborn. After having multiple recommendations of Josh's work we contacted him and got in right away. Fast forward Max is the sweetest, calm, obedient dog. All of our family and friends are amazed that it's the same dog. Josh taught all of us my husband, myself and our dog. I can't recommend his services enough!

We inquired about services because we were recommended by a friend. Josh worked wonders with our pup. He was equally patient with us as owners also. The passion for the work he does was evident. He was always willing to take the time to explain and provide the why. We hadn’t done training sessions before and we were comfortable from the beginning. We decided eventually to do a board and train and are so happy with the success he had with our puppy (she took a lot of patience and time to train). His dedication and commitment were so obvious when we picked her up 2 weeks later. If you’re looking for someone who loves animals, knows what they’re doing and is honest and straightforward in their training definitely check into his services. We highly recommend Josh!

I worked with Josh to train my dog, Belle, and am so impressed with his technique and his results. She was a tough nut to crack as she’s easily distracted and not food motivated, but Josh understood her behaviors and was able to work with her successfully regardless! We now have very well behaved dog who listens to the commands we sought training for. Josh has a great working plan to train from the ground up but is also able to pivot and adapt to your and your dog’s needs. I highly recommend working with him!

Josh was a tremendous help with our dog, Willow. She arrived as a pup with no knowledge of commands, but thanks to Josh's guidance, she quickly learned them. He not only trained her but also thoroughly walked us through everything he had taught her, ensuring we could continue her training confidently. Josh's communication was exceptional throughout the entire process, providing updates before, during, and after the training.
