FirstBarkJohn gave us the tools we needed to give our dog peaches the best life we can give her. We saw immense improvement in her behavior and in her last day she didn't even jump on him when he walked in. he's very patient and thorough when it comes to training. John was incredibly helpful and really empowered us to lead and take the control of training our dog into our own hands! He was really patient and kind with us and our kids, and helped us establish our pack hierarchy. Even after just the first visit and few days of implementing the lessons the difference in our puppy was night and day. Thank you for the lifetime of help and skills, John!

Balanced Pooches led by trainer John was an exceptional experience for our dog. The training overall exceeded our expectations. Our pup had all of her sessions and was already trained in certain things prior, but the training practices we learned thru John made that much more of a difference for both us as her owners and her as our pup. Sessions such as prioritizing focus, walking practices, safety of our pup, building further trust between us and our pup, and so much more we’re just pieces of John’s training sessions. We were very satisfied with the time and care that he took in working with our pup Eevee throughout these sessions. I would highly recommend John’s training and Balanced Pooches to everyone and appreciate John for all of his successful efforts in working with our pup and ultimately seeing positive results with her overall.

We tried the shocking collars and it only made her worse. The gentle and more positive training John helped to train us to create a better environment for everyone. Our puppy was still going through her final vaccinations but we wanted to get a head start on her professional training as first time puppy parents so John’s in home training sessions were perfect. John provided clear guidance, examples, and handout/guides for our reference. It’s clear that the health, safety, and training of dogs is a high priority and we appreciated all the guidance/tips in this regard as well. Our puppy loved her training sessions and we quickly noticed an improvement in her behaviors after each training session with us following the schedule each week provided by John. I’d highly recommend John and Balanced Pooches to anyone!
