Balancing Paws Dog Training

I have a 6-month-old Cane Corso who went for Training for almost 3 weeks while I was away. I was nervous leaving my puppy for that long. I got to see pictures and how she was doing which made me feel so much better. So now that I am back, she takes me to training once a week for me to learn how to be a good pet parent. We are both learning and improving so we can have the best relationship. Yoni and his team are awesome and will answer any questions or concerns which is so appreciated. I would recommend them 100% for any training you or your dog might need.

We were at our wits end with our dog. Managing his energy and chaotic behavior was taking up so much of our energy and attention. We sent him for 4 weeks of boarded training at Balancing Paws. He’s like a whole new dog. His behavior and attention have gotten so much better and we have the tools we need to work with him. We’ve been taking him to group classes as well and it’s been really helpful for getting him used to being around other dogs.

Balancing Paws Dog Training is life changing. I am not even exaggerating. I rescued a 7 month old herding dog last October and the first few months were rough. He was getting in fights with my elderly pooch, I was bitten multiple times while breaking up the fights (I obviously didn't understand the signs and triggers to prevent the fights in the first place). My family no longer wanted to come over because they were terrified of the dog and everything that I was trying was ineffective. I hired a dog trainer who in one training gave some advice such as getting rid of the crate, which set us back even more in giving boundaries and a safe space for the pooch. The next trainer wouldn't respond to my calls or come back as she was scared of Tito’s. Fast forward to being introduced to Balancing Paws. Yoni’s first session with Tito’s yielded significant improvement right away. He has really helped me to understand the mind of the dog versus how I think as a human and given us the tools to making tiny tweaks that have given order to the home and ultimately gives my pooch the boundaries that my pooch needs in order to be a confident, well-behaved member of the household while keeping everyone safe. In just 3 months of one-on-one and group sessions, we can now go on overnight trips together, have dinner on a crowded outdoor patio restaurant (which I would not have attempted prior), he is calm when guests come over, and it has restored order to what was a very stressful situation. Although the training sessions were for Tito’s, he also provided excellent advice and techniques to help my elderly dog with her separation anxiety. I wish I had met Yoni nine years ago when I first became a dog owner. The dog psychology seems so common sense now, but it has been a real paradigm shift. The facility itself is a great set up and is very clean and welcoming to humans and pooches alike. Any dog owner will benefit from this training. I am moving across the country in a few weeks and plan to continue the training sessions virtually to help in getting settled into the new home and making sure that I'm setting the pooches up for success from day one.
