Do yourselves a favor and stay far away from this company (Bark and Birch). Find a local trainer or training company and use them. Support your local small businesses. Bark and Birch fails to pay the trainers as they are contractually obligated to do and are in the process of losing many/most of their trainers in the U.S. and other countries. The founder, Nick, boasts of turning over 8 million in business in the 2nd year and the company being worth over 100 million. With that in mind, why have so many trainers quit due to not being paid? Of those I’ve talked to, the estimates of money owed ranges from 5k to over 10k and Bark and Birch just won't pay the trainers what is owed them. Additionally, for those trainers in the U.S., none that I know of have received their W-2 for filing taxes. There have been many excuses as to why trainers haven’t been paid, but with a company that’s worth such a fortune, one would think they could take care of the very people who do the work with clients and their dogs.
Ashleigh was great with our dog and she was able to help him through some PTSD he had from another trainer. She thought both my dog and us a lot about training and discipline.
Lauren Voehl was our dog's trainer and she was amazing! She was so kind and compassionate with Ryner and he has learned so much. If you are in need of a little extra help training your dog I would highly recommend Bark and Birch and Lauren. Aurora, CO
Well, I wrote a nice review before but since we supposed to have 4 more classes at our place and the trainer was never available. He confirmed twice and never came to show us how to do the commands indoors. My dos understood “Sit” before classes and that’s all he knows besides “down”.
