Bark & Biscuit

We take our two dogs here for boarding and the occasional day care on ski days. Our dogs have two very different personalities. One is confident and needs firm commands. The other is extremely anxious, and can be a but fearful of new dogs and new people. They work with both well and my dogs are excited when we drop them off. All the employees clearly care a lot about dogs and their well-being.

Best experience. Our dog is a rescue. She was poorly socialized with dogs and people, and came out of a traumatic situation. To add to the difficulty, we are first time dog owners. Training with Bark & Biscuit is making all the difference! They are helping us understand how to be good owners so our girl can achieve her potential. They work well with adults and kids. They explain both the concepts and how to apply them with clarity. We are a much happier pet family with their help!

Updated review- We enrolled our pup in the dream dog program last summer. Needless to say, our dog is SO well trained now. He truly listens to us and one of his favorite phrases is, “do you want to do some training?” We still have to keep up with all of the trainings we were taught but that is so worth it to maintain the major change bark and biscuit had with Tank’s behavior!! This place is INCREDIBLE! We take our pup here for daycare now due to a previous daycare causing multiple sicknesses for our dog due to cleanliness issues. Bark&Biscuit is sooo clean that we don’t even worry now about this occurring. Everyone is kind, helpful, open, and will answer any questions. They love our little guy Tank so much which means we love them as well! 100% recommend for daycare or boarding!

Pros- Getting a report card each day, although it gave very little information/detail as to how my dog was doing. Friendly staff. Accommodated us in a bind when we only had two days left before our trip to find someone to watch our dog due to someone canceling on us. Cons- No idea where they keep the dogs to sleep for boarding, outdoor play seems to only be on rocks? We handed someone the leash to take my dog in and they didn’t let us see in the back. It was our first experience leaving our dog at a boarding place, so this caused anxiety and worry on our trip. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I feel like she came back a different dog. She isn’t excited for treats or walks and she had diarrhea 3 times on the carpet during our first night back. She’s had several accidents on our floor over the last 4 days- this is not normal, she’s 5 years old. She hasn’t eaten any of her dog food since we got home. She eats a little when I cook her rice to help calm her stomach. Her left eye was rolling in the back of her head this afternoon and she couldn’t open it. We have made an appointment with the vet because we’re extremely concerned.
