Wow! Wow! Wow! I'd give Andrea even more than 5 stars if it were possible! We have been having some challenges with our 13 month old lab mix: increasing and aggressive barking at the door & windows and in the back yard/at neighbors, and ALOT of tugging on the leash. Andrea came to our home and in just the first session, we saw **immediate** results! Not only that, but she has left us with important knowledge and tools to keep the progress moving forward and even work on other behaviors that we want to correct Obviously we had as much to learn as our dog and Andrea trained us on how to work with our dog in a way that will have lasting positive results! Her methods are kind, non-threatening (no negative punishment), and our dog actually *enjoyed* our training session with her! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend working with Andrea from Bark Busters Boulder!!!!

I've been encouraging all of my friends with dogs to hire bark busters. Andrea was a lot of fun and really gets down to the point when she trains. After three hours, my unruly rescue pup was PERFECT. She kept saying "I can't teach it any better than that." He'd do everything she taught exactly correct. And over a week later, he's still so well behaved. She taught us how dogs think and what they need to be content. Just amazing. Also, she didn't push us to sign up for a year of training. I was ready to write the check for it too, but she was honest with us about how we just don't need it. She was right too, our dog is excellent now and we know what to do in each situation.

Let me first begin by saying…Andrea is a rock star trainer and worth every penny. I could stop there but it wouldn’t do justice to the quality of the training my wife and I received from Bark Busters. Yes you read that right, she trained us which allowed us to properly train our dog Hercules. Before reaching out to Bark Busters we had tried some of those group classes at one of the big box pet retailers and the results were lackluster at best, and really just paying to have my dog socialize with other puppies. It didn’t work. They used treats and clicker training which im sure works for some people and their animals but not for us. When we had our consultation with Andrea she pointed out that when Hercules did something to bother our older Chocolate Lab, Luna, Luna didn’t use a clicker or treats to correct their interactions…and the light bulb went off for me. After our first training session Hercules was showing immediate improvement and command recognition. We went from taking him on walks where he would make it a game of “let’s see how many times I can wrap this leash around Mom and Dad today” to walking at my side on leash with relative consistency. After two more sessions he now walks off leash and stays calm when we approach other dogs or people in the neighborhood. I’ve had dogs my entire life and I always used to marvel at neighbors or friends that had super well behaved and obedient dogs and I would say to myself, “I want a dog like that” even though I knew all along that it’s not the dog as much as the owner that dictates behavior. Andrea taught my wife and me what it takes to have an obedient pet that will follow instructions and I couldn’t be happier with our decision to hire Andrea. It was a customized approach that was done in the comfort of my own home and my neighborhood and I believe that the Bark Busters training method is hands down the best option out there.

From the very first session, we had noticable results with our girl Dottie. I lived with Dottie's aggression toward other dogs for 9 years and thought there was nothing that could be done. On a wing and a prayer we called Andrea, and from that first day, we knew we didn't have to live with the embarassment of a frenzied dog. Andrea is wonderful and showed us how to get Dottie out of that "Red Zone" and focus her back on us. It has changed our attitude and our life.
