If I could give 10 stars I would! I can’t thank Bob enough for giving us the tools to not only have a more peaceful home life with our dog, but the knowledge and confidence to sustain it. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about what he is doing and why. From the moment Bob walked into our house, our dog was barking so loud at him we couldn’t hear each other speak. Bob was very calm and immediately went into coaching mode and showed us how to correct that behavior and after just a couple redirections we could already see our dog responding to the method he taught us. I appreciate Bob and the Bark Busters promise to each of its customers because it ensures that as a pet owner, you are the one in charge and your pet will respond to you. Which to me is way more important than going to some training place where your dog only listens to those trainers and as soon as you get home you deal with the same behaviors you were wanting the training for in the first place (and still spend the same amount of money, if not more). Again, I can’t thank Bob enough for the time he spent with us this afternoon and we are looking forward to our follow up to hopefully show some amazing progress that we have made with our dog.

Don't waste your time and money with Bob Williams and Bark Busters. He comes to your house, gives a mostly generic presentation about how to train dogs, then suggests that his work is done and invites you to call him in the future if you and your dog need a "remedial" lesson. Then he leans on you for a review. At this point we had done absolutely no leash training with our dog, let alone taught our dog to sit, stay, come, etc or a "final exam" to demonstrate what our dog had learned. Maybe some of the people who left a positive review after that first session actually achieved a miraculous result for their dog that was sustainable and they remain satisfied that their dog is now "trained.". In that case I suppose they might think that the $1000 paid up front was worth it. Our dog achieved no such miracles so after several weeks we asked Bob to schedule a second session. He agreed, but when he showed up he seemed anything but enthusiastic about being there. We did an hour of leash training with our dog who did just "OK" in trying to follow Bob's instructions. I could see our dog had not mastered much of anything in that hour and I, too, couldn't remember everything he had done with our dog so I asked Bob to send me some written materials that I could review. He agreed. Unfortunately, we never received anything from Bob, even after multiple requests. He simply stopped returning our phone calls and voice mails. So, at least in my opinion, the fact that he gives our his phone number in his replies to these reviews and invites you to call "anytime" is just a charade. The same can be said for the money-back guarantee. If he won't return calls from customers who've paid him $1000 up front, what are the odds that he'd actually refund your money if you weren't satisfied? I'm no expert on dog training but I hired a dog trainer years ago who spent 10 times as much time with my dog for the same price as we paid Bob and that dog wound up very well-trained. We've barely begun to train our current dog and Bob has long since collected his $1000 and disappeared. Avoid this guy at all costs!

Finally! Answers to our prayers! Our family has a 13yo pit mix rescue and a 1yo American Akita. The Akita has typical Akita traits and we knew with another 30lbs left to pack on, we needed to get ourselves in shape with his training. In the process, Bob focused mainly on our Akita (as he needed the training much more) but our pit mix followed right along without hesitation… with nearly 13yrs of the same habits, they ceased within an hour. 😳 Bob is amazing at what he does and truly worth every penny! In just 2 hours, we had more obedient and respectful fur babies! We were blown away with just the responsiveness of the first exercise and it just got better and better with each new exercise. Our jaws were on the floor and now I’m ready to brag even more about how well behaved, mannered, and attentive my Akita is! This is only from a 2hr training! I can’t wait to see the progress in a few short weeks and can’t wait to continue tomorrow- even my kids are in awe at the change and eager to help train! Akitas tend to have a bad reputation but like any dog, training is absolutely a must. I believe if owners have the right tools to train their pups, less would in the shelters. They need a calm and consistent leader and with Bob’s training techniques that is exactly who you will become. Bob breaks down the whys and how-tos of everything. His techniques are simple and effective- no need to complicate things. Thank you, Bob!! You have truly given us a gift!
