Hi, adopted a dog from a hoarding situation several months ago, and from day one had issues with her, not allowing people to enter our home, constantly nipping at them when they entered The house or turned their back also barking uncontrollably at them as well , I tried everything within my power, that I knew of to correct this issue without NO success.I reached out to Justin Scher at Bark Busters (San Diego) on our first meeting, he gave me instructions and verbal tools to address these problems….this is day three now, ,and I have to continually look at my dog because can not believe this same dog !!!( especially after three days) with his guidance and my following his instructions , She no longer barks when people come in the house. There is no nipping or aggression whatsoever.l!!!! She seems happier. And in a very calm relaxed state of mind. I never would’ve dreamed the transition would’ve taken place so quickly. I am so happy and so grateful for his expertise. We have a few other issues I also need to address ,but given the success we’ve had in such a little time leaves no doubt In my mind, she will be the perfect well-balanced dog in a very short period of time. I am forever grateful for finding him. And giving me the advice necessary to correct these problems

With a pack of 6 dogs that came into the household at all different times, we were feeling defeated and didn't feel that we could ever get them all trained. I read tons of reviews and looked at multiple training services but always came back to Barkbusters. We were very skeptical and wondered how one trainer, Justin Scher, could have so many 5 star reviews. During our first scheduled training, it didn't take us long to realize that he is amazing, passionate, caring and generally wants the best for you and your pets. He did mention that this was the first time he had ever trained a pack of 6 but within 3 hours the dogs knew their place and were unlike they had ever been before. With the tools we were given and a family participating in what we were taught, the dogs continue to improve daily. A week later he came to train us and the dogs on how to take a pleasant walk. This morning we walked 6 dogs and we came home relaxed and the dogs came home exhausted. We now understand why Justin has so many amazing reviews!! Thank you Justin!

Justin Scher changed our lives. My wife and I were struggling with what to do with our 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier named Oliver. He is a really sweet dog but he had a lot of behavioral issues. It got to a point where we couldn't take him on our evening walks because he was so difficult on a leash and when interacting with other dogs. Having guests over was a serious challenge because he would bark, jump, whine, and command our attention the entire time. We tried obedient training and while he listens to commands, it did nothing to solve his behavioral issues. All of this changed during our first meeting with Justin. He took the time to help us understand the reasons behind Oliver's behavioral issue and gave us the tools to help treat and correct those issues. My wife and I were absolutely blown away by the results after just one session! Yes, one session! We now have a happy, relaxed, non anxious dog whose chilling in the green zone. We still have to give him corrections now and again but he truly is a different dog. And if that wasn't good enough, Justin has reached out to us multiple times to check in and see how we are doing. He's extremely responsive and always take the time to give thoughtful answers. I cannot recommend Justin enough!!! We will never use or need another trainer. He is professional, patient, and truly cares about the pets and their owners.

I wondered how Justin had received such stellar reviews - until he came over and after our very first appointment, my dog Coco was absolutely a different animal! We have had a a few corrections here and there, but Coco who used to growl and bark incessantly at anyone who came to the door or in the house, now actually wags her tail - quietly wags her tail - when people come over. I was at my wits end and my husband was beyond that point. Now we have a mild mannered, relaxed dog most of the time, and when I give her a correction, she responds immediately. We are thrilled to say the least!
