Justin came in to our home for the initial visit and within an hour our dogs had shown drastic behavioral improvements. Our dogs were anxious, barking, and disrespectful of our personal space. Our session with Justin addressed these issues and developed a plan for us to continue growing with our dogs. Before Justin, our dogs had behaviors that most would just consider as normal for dogs, but when you pay attention to these issues they were actually quite disruptive to our days. We have one 7 year old and one 2 year old. Both were stressed out and constantly barking at whenever a neighbor would make noise or someone would walk by the front of our house. Justin relieved the stress they were constantly carrying and allowed them to just be happy, chill dogs without compromising their personalities. After we really understood the homework given to us for consistency, the training became just another easy part of our day that we can implement whenever we want. Of course it helps that Justin is always available for a phone call or text if we need it also! We can’t recommend this service enough and truly can say our lives have changed after these sessions. We think no matter what behavioral issues your dog may have, Justin has the answers and you’ll be shocked how fast your environment can change for the better.

Justin is a genius! He was able to assess my dog and know what we needed in a matter of minutes. My dog has terrible separation anxiety and was reactive to some dogs on the leash. Justin showed me the Cutting the Cord exercise and after one time my dog no longer follows me from room to room and will enter if I call her. She is fantastic on the leash. No more reactivity to other dogs. She walks by my side and looks to me for cues. Before she would do her own thing and try to eat stuff off the ground or walk ahead. I wasn't able to leave the house without her freaking out. Now I am able to leave for up to three hours no problem. I tried Cesar Milan's and Brandon McMillan's separation anxiety treatment methods and neither worked. I also had a trainer who used treats and positive reinforcement and that didn't work either. It is amazing how something so simple can transform your dog. She is so much more calm and confident now. She knows that I am the leader and she can just relax. I highly recommend Justin if you need any help with your dog. He is extremely knowledgeable, super nice, and very responsive to any questions. Just wish I contacted him sooner!

She even provided me with her personal phone number encouraging me to not hesitate reaching out if any questions arose between sessions. And let me tell you - she followed through by messaging daily just to check up on Benji's progress! The level of support continued after subsequent sessions when she initiated a group chat including Justin so they could stay updated on how things were going. They also quickly followed up with a third session the following week! If you are looking to be ghosted by your trainer, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE. They checked in like clock-work from my morning walks to my evening walks and I never felt alone during the whole process. When they say unlimited sessions, they mean it whole-heartedly - it’s not just a marketing ploy!!! We have two pitbulls almost two years old. They are sisters, they had always been best friends, they played rough or got angry but it was normal, they had never fought and hurt each other like this past August. They fought so badly that we took them to the ER, they both got hurt and we couldn't explain how. The next day I started looking for trainers for aggressive dogs in San Diego and decided on BarksBusters after the reviews I read, I wanted those same results for my dogs. From the first day with Justin we saw a big difference. My dogs we're not getting along after that fight, they didn't play together they were so distant with each other, on top of that they pulled each other when walking on a leash, they barked at other dogs, and they jumped at visitors. Now they're getting along so well, they're friends again, we haven't seen any more aggressive behavior between them two. They're not jumping on visitors and it feels so nice to walk them, they're not pulling on the leash or reacting towards other dogs. Justin’s training is really helping our dogs. I’m glad we contacted them, it has been one of the best things that we have done for our dogs and our well being.

Justin changed our lives!! Our dog, Jasmine, was friendly to people but could be quite aggressive towards other dogs. Our living situation changed and we found ourselves living with a friend who owned a small dog as well. Unfortunately, Jasmine did NOT warm up to the other dog at all, things were not looking good. We called Justin and he was able to come out to help us. The first initial session was a little over 2.5 hours. It started off with us chatting for a bit to explain the situation, our concerns with Jasmine, and our goals. He explained the possible underlying causes, dog instincts and his training methods and tools. Within 3 minutes of him being introduced to our girl, Jasmine, we noticed an immediate shift in behavior! She responded to the new training right away. Flash forward to a week later, Jasmine is able to play and hang out with the new dog, is more calm on walks and is way more relaxed in general. We absolutely cannot thank Justin enough. If you are dealing with behavioral issues with your pup, I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Justin. It is 1000% worth the money!
