As the pet parent of a 6-year-old chihuahua terrier mix rescue who was extremely reactive, I had reached the point of feeling desperate. My puppy Gus, had extreme separation anxiety, would bark nonstop pretty much the moment he was in the crate until I let him out. I used vibrating collars, left my workout clothes in his crate, bought high-value treats, tried a citronella collar, and eventually a shock collar but nothing made a difference.

After only about five training sessions with Justin, the transformation has been incredible. Gus is now able to stay home calmly while I’m away, and Im not stressing that he’s panicking, barking nonstop, or upsetting the neighbors. 

I really like that Justin’s approach was effective, practical, and tailored to Gus’s specific needs. No need for constant treat reinforcement. Literally, the first day was a huge improvement. Our walks that were a chore I worked around times that I hoped nobody would be out and that were unpleasant at best have now turned into the thing I look forward to the most in my crazy day. We go out twice a day now and love every minute. My mini-schnauzer used to lunge, bark, snap and generally harass even people across 4 lanes but now he walks at my side and calmly deals with dogs, joggers, bikes, scooters, etc. Justin is amazing!! He checks in regularly and gives me actually useful help, like how to handle our recent road trip vacation to the mountains, the doorbell reaction and other things that just make living with a dog much better. I CANNOT say enough good about Justin and this program and already have talked it up to some neighbors.

After adopting my dog Prince , I noticed he had separation anxiety, a lot of barking and scratching at the door and was leash aggressive, which made walks miserable for me.After working with Justin, especially with the simulation /correction method and consistent communications, Prince’s anxiety is totally gone. I can even see him sleeping using my camera when Prince is left alone.
