Our 1.5 year old Springer Spaniel started to show owner-directed aggression towards us, and after seeing a veterinary behaviorist (which didn't help at all), we went to Diane and John. We are so grateful we did! Diane talked with me for a while on the phone, and then we had a 3 hour initial meeting. They explained dog behavior to me and gave us resources like a harness and spray bottle to correct his bad behavior. After working with them for a few sessions and being consistent, our dog has shown so much progress! Whenever he was having a bad incident of aggression, Diane was always available via text or phone call and would guide me through what to do. They really care and are there for you! We are so grateful for Diane and John and recommend them to anyone looking for a trainer.

John and Diane are the best! During our initial 3 hour class, I learned so much about seeing the world through my dog’s eyes. Wow...little changes in my behavior immediately garnered respect from my pack of 2 dogs. Understanding how they behave with/without a pack leader finally made sense to me. My home is less stressful after only 1 session! We have daily practice activities to reinforce my “pack leader status” and I’ve observed calmer dogs as they no longer wonder who is the pack leader here. I would highly recommend John and Diane! They are exceptional, provide guidance in food, toys etc and are kind, thoughtful people. They encourage you to check in via text/call I’m between sessions to celebrate progress and/or provide guidance in between sessions. We are looking forward to our next session!

John and Diane are absolutely awesome!!! I've been working with Barks Buster since July when I first got my new Goldendoodle, Leonidas. They have so much knowledge and have been extremely helpful. They have provided so many helpful tips to help me and my puppy. I got a another Doodle in November and immediately reached out and they came out to show me how to work with both the puppies and get Leia on the right track. They are available around the clock to answer all my questions and concerns. I appreciate all your support and I would recommend you over and over again.
