Bark Busters Lake Norman

Our dog has been having leash reactivity issues for quite some time. Diane and John helped us understand the deeper issues leading to the reactivity and gave us some great strategies to reduce this reactivity. It's been much easier to go on walks now and enjoy our time as a family instead of worrying about situations that could lead to the reactivity. They've been so patient and helpful and we really appreciate their time and effort!

Our family had thought we had no other options after three trainers , a behaviorist & drugs for our absolutely precious 18 month old who had a host of issues! Resource, guarding, unpredictable, biting, inability to be around people. We were let down by trainers who believe throwing treats at every behavior or accomplishment, which Was not working and we did not believe in the method. We refused to give up on her because she is an amazingly smart and great dog when these issues are in front of us! Our breeder Charlotte dog club had recommended Bark busters after an extended phone call with Diane. I knew there was hope.! After our first three hour meeting and some corrections, this dog is well on her way to becoming the dog, we knew she always was! It has been a remarkable transformation just after our first meeting and almost 2 weeks in❤️ We have also reached out to Diane and she has reached out to us. We love Diane and John and we know that this Is life-changing for our precious dog and our family we are forever grateful and looking forward to more work! And she is looking forward to feeling better and being the best dog she can be

We started working with Bark Busters of Lake Norman for our 2 5 year old Pit Bulls a few weeks ago who have been leash pullers and barkers. After just the first visit we have seen an incredible even unbelievable positive turn around in our dogs behavior. Walks are such a pleasure now. From the beginning and every time we have a question Diane and John are immediately responsive to our questions and needs. I can’t recommend them highly enough and would be remiss to not also mention how affordable this training is given the fast results and ongoing help that is received.

John and Diane are wonderful. I had called a few other trainers in the area and felt very discouraged when the calls ended. After speaking with Diane, I knew I had found the perfect trainers and program for our family. They are so kind and loving with my pup. They are also very patient with my husband and I as well as with my 2 kids. The training techniques are a family affair and fun. My dog is like a different dog after only a couple of sessions and might I add, this is all through POSITIVE reinforcement. No shock collars or pinch collars. If you’re looking for wonderful trainers (and people), look no further!!
