And teaching him to walk calmly on a leash from a crazy wild man has been pretty seamless. Our other dog has also benefited as she takes the entire household into account. All techniques that require no treats or any negative reinforcement. I'm the biggest skeptic there is and my mind is blown. It takes work, but it works. She also is available to answer any questions in between sessions. Life changing.

I've used at least four other dog trainers over the past three years for my 75 pound lab, rottweiler, hound mix.
It was not until I met Sharon with Bark Busters that I finally learned how to curb his fear & reactivity to strange dogs and people. Sharon has helped me immensely to know how to desensitize him and begin to safely socialize him. He is now having fun with other dogs! It's such a relief to see him becoming less concerned about strangers too. It's phenomenal! He's feeling better and safer in public, at home, and on his walks! This was accomplished without any treats & no e-collars (shock collars ) or any harsh methods. We even immediately put away the prong collar he had used his whole life. Sharon comes to you and meets you in real settings like on walks, in your home, yard, and in public. For a better understanding of your dog and to learn how to think like your dog and improve his behaviors, I highly recommend Sharon and Bark Busters in Pinellas County!

My dog had extreme separation anxiety. He would claw at the door and jump for over 20 minutes or more if left alone that long. I wanted to get at the heart of the problem and not use scare tactics for an already terrified dog. Sharon’s training helped him slowly realize I was coming back using gestures and body language. He started calming down right away. I’m now able to leave him without crating him and with no scratching or jumping at the door. The tools really worked.
