Echoing what another review said - as a first time dog owner, Kate was incredibly helpful. Even though I had grown up with dogs, I had never trained a puppy ... and let me tell you, it is humbling. The tools, insight into dog psychology, and post-session write ups have helped me become a better dog owner and saved me MANY a meltdown. It's also been really cool to see how the bond with my dog has grown throughout the training process. Oh, and besides knowing her stuff, Kate is just so nice and pleasant to work with.

Kate Senisi was a lifesaver for us first-time dog parents. We adopted our rescue pup, Foxie, from overseas and she was having a hard time adjusting to the city -- particularly children and bikes! Kate helped us greatly with that and now Foxie has no reaction when those two pass by us on our walks! We watched a lot of training videos and read a lot of training advice before we adopted Foxie but felt overwhelmed by all the information and needed help structuring a plan of action. Kate helped us hone in on the absolute essentials which thus greatly increased our confidence when walking Foxie. Kate helped us a lot not just with the training of our dog but also with her management. Kate listened to our goals and helped us identify and prioritize the best behaviors to target to achieve those goals. After each session, Kate produced a detailed report on what she observed and what we needed to work on and included any resources we might need. We would work off of the report but also would communicate with Kate if we had any questions or needed any help. It was always a jam-packed session with Kate and Foxie thrived under her tutelage. It was a very collaborative relationship and we truly felt that Kate had the same ultimate end goals as we did - a healthy, happy Foxie!
