Bark University Inc

Everyone who uses or is thinking of using Bark University for dog boarding should know that my dog contracted conjunctivitis (pinkeye) during his stay (9/17/21 to 9/26/21). I noticed the discharge from my dog's eyes within an hour of picking him up. I called Bark University to alert it about this and to inquire about my dog's time there. Only after I mentioned that he had eye discharge and redness did the person on the phone mention that someone there noticed that as well the day before. When I asked why I wasn't informed earlier, she only apologized. She said no other dogs there had any symptoms. But my dog had been playing with other dogs earlier that morning and everyday during his stay. I hope none of those other dogs get pinkeye. Either another dog came in that had pinkeye or Bark University does not maintain a clean environment. Bark University personnel also didn't follow my instructions for my dog's stay there. I requested, paid for and provided toothpaste and toothbrush for my dog's teeth to be brushed every other day. But the toothpaste came home unused, and when I brushed my dog's teeth that night, his gums bleed, which indicates he did not get brushed for the entire week he was there. In summary, I had a disappointing experience with Bark University and will not use it again.
