Barking Bonds Dog Training and Boarding

Olivia has been a great help with our anxious rescue dog , Kovu. Olivia helped by giving us ideas to help Kovu remain calm and feel safe. We built his confidence with basic obedience training and meeting other people and dogs in different locations. We learned to view Kovu’s behavior to help him past his insecurity. If something didn’t work she gave us another idea and helped train him with positive reinforcement. Because of her help we have been able to keep Kovu off long term medications and leave him home alone without destructive behavior. When we adopted a second rescue she helped us switch gears for the different things the newer dog needed. Finally, her stress free boarding gave me wonderful peace of mind while we went on vacation, for one night or a week. Knowing my pets were calm and enjoying where they were with daily videos and updates helped me enjoy my vacation.

We had been searching for a trainer to help us with our very anxious rescue dog . We wanted to take her more places because she has a lot of energy and wants to be around people. However, we were nervous on walks and didn’t dare take her to the park because she was afraid of other dogs and so she would bark at them. It was very stressful. Now we are able to take our dog to the park and she can run and play without being so anxious. Which makes outings fun for all of us . And she loves it!! Upon meeting Olivia we found some ways that our other dog needed improvement and she has worked with her as well. They love training… Olivia is very kind and listens to your concerns, taking time to reflect, get to know and come up with a plan for each dog. She is a magnificent person and I recommended her to anyone who is having issues with their dogs.

We have taken training for our Aussie with Olivia and it has been great! Olivia has a great deal of experience and knowledge working with all kinds of dogs. She is compassionate with them but also in a way that they immediately give her a lot of respect and attention. We have also had our dog stay with her for boarding, and it was very reassuring to us knowing how well she would take care of him. Highly recommend!

Olivia is amazing. We recently adopted a pretty wild rescue lab puppy that had been in four different locations before coming to us. She has worked with us, and the new dog, to set us up for success. We are so grateful for Olivia's support and guidance. We are doing a variety of training options with her, and that has been really helpful. He is already learning to walk on a loose leash, I didn't think that was possible. Thank you Olivia!!
