At Barks and Rec, our main focus is the mental and physical well being of the dogs in our care. We strive to provide the best services available through a strong work ethic and building relationships with the people and dogs we are privileged to serve! Jen and the staff at Barks and Rec are AMAZING! I dropped my 1 year old French Brittany off for a 3 week board and train to address reactive behaviors. Jen not only addressed the behavior, but also the underlying psychology of it. My dog was not aggressive. He was scared and lacked confidence. Jen set the foundation of a calm behavior and also provided the me tools/training I needed to maintain a healthy and happy lifestyle for my dog. The facility at Barks and Rec is outstanding! It is spacious, clean, and offers lots of green area for the dogs. The bottom line is Jen and the staff take pride in what they do. I cannot recommend them enough.
Excellent Training and interacting with other puppies
We board our golden lab here every time we are out of town. The staff has always been so friendly and I love that they personally get to know your dog. Highly recommend this place for the peace of mind that your dog will be cared for
Our friends recommended Barks and Rec when we got our puppy. They have been absolutely fantastic! Even when our pup had some specific needs they were able to accommodate. Can’t say enough good things about everyone there!
