Battle Bridge Canine

Caitlyn did a great job with our beagle Wee Man! The communication for the 3 weeks of training was extremely helpful for me because I was so nervous dropping him off for that long. He had a great time and learned so much. I would recommend Battle Bridge Canine to anyone wanting to get their dog trained! She takes such good care of the dogs and really does an amazing job of showing you how to continue their training at home.

We had a very disappointing experience with Caitlyn’s dog training service. Communication throughout the process was poor and inconsistent, and the pricing felt extremely unreasonable for the results we received. My mom trusted Caitlyn to help train her dog Melanie, but after spending a significant amount of money, Melanie came back having learned little to nothing. To make matters worse, when we picked her up, Caitlyn basically told us the dog was “terrible,” which was both unprofessional and discouraging to hear after paying for training services that were supposed to help improve behavior. Instead of offering constructive guidance or support, the experience left us feeling blamed and disappointed. My mom was honestly too uncomfortable to leave a review herself, but I felt people should know about our experience before spending their money here. We would not recommend this service and are extremely upset about how this played out

Caitlyn is the best! I called Caitlyn for my 11 month old Golden Retriever, Gordon. He’s a rowdy boy who goes through what I call “episodes” and did not ever settle from the day we brought him home. And when I say did not ever settle, I mean pacing nonstop for hours. Now, Gordon isn’t anxious or anything, just a busy body who wants something to do every minute. His episodes are made up over stimulation and excitement. I didn’t know what to do anymore. I met with Caitlyn for a one-on-one training session to go over everything, in which she saw me tearfully explain that I had tried every settling training, mentally stimulation exercise, and ignoring/correction training that YouTube and another trainer offered. Caitlyn suggested we do the 3-week board and train so that she could work with Gordon and I would be able to take a break. Caitlyn kept in the loop with daily updates and her thoughts about what had been happening with Gordon. She worked hard to help him with his impulse control and understanding his mind which has in turn helped him settle and work through his “episodes.” I cannot recommend Caitlyn and Battle Bridge Canine enough. She truly took the time to understand my dog, work with the both us, and provide me with a plan going forward that I feel confident will work for us.

Caitlyn did an amazing job training my dog. We started when he was 4 months old due to biting and jumping issues and enrolled him in her 2-week board and train puppy program. When he came home, there was a huge improvement in his behavior. Because of the great results, we later did the 3-week adult board and train program. My dog now knows sit, stay, down, place, and walks confidently both on and off leash. The difference is night and day. Caitlyn is knowledgeable, patient, and truly cares about the dogs she trains. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for professional, effective dog training.
