Lauren was absolutely amazing to work with! She helped us with puppy training, general obedience, and a train-and-board for our dog Tank. She is incredibly patient, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and truly cares about the dogs she works with. One thing we especially appreciated was that she welcomed our daughter to be part of the training sessions so she could learn how to work with Tank too. During the board and train, Lauren kept us updated with videos and pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. You can genuinely tell she loves the dogs she trains and treats them like her own. We saw great improvements in Tank and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and dedicated dog trainer!

Lauren at Bay Dogs was the reassurance and guide that my fiancé and I needed when it came to getting our 4 month old English Labrador under control. Chief is my first dog, so I was constantly wondering whether his behavior was normal or not. At 4 months, Chief was 50 pounds and quickly becoming a menace in the household, and my fiancé and I felt that we were losing control. Lauren taught us effective strategies to address counter surfing, jumping, and biting. Her services also helped us build a stronger bond with Chief and allowed me to be in control. Our pack is thriving now that Chief knows my fiancé and I are the leaders. I cannot recommend Lauren enough! Our now 7 month old puppy is becoming quite the gentleman.

Lauren at Bay Dogs is great with training our standard poodle who thought she was the boss. She was jumping on us, counter surfing, jumping when greeting people, reactive, not settling down so we could do things like cook dinner. She was even play attacking me in the yard. After just 5 in-home sessions Lauren helped us resolve all these behavioral issues. Our 1 year old poodle is happier now (and so are we). Currently we are working on not pulling when walking in leash. Lauren took the time to listen and understood our concerns and developed a customized plan each visit. For me it included leadership and consequences. My dog was very responsive to all Lauren’s training and we can’t imagine what we would do without her help. My dog is over 50lbs and I take her everywhere so she needs her manners. Thank you Lauren!!!

I can’t say enough positive about Lauren. She is a true pro at dog training. Our girl was pretty strong willed and Lauren showed us actually very simple techniques but so powerful to help our girl realize she wasn’t in charge. All we had to do was practice them and we had the right results. Practice is the key. If we hadn’t called on Lauren we would never have known what to do. We are still working with her as there is so much to learn. But she’s the best.
