Honestly, I could not wait to write this review. We sent our rescue puppy who was about 10 months old to Jenn at BeachwoodK9 for a 3 week board and train session. Mabel wasn’t a “bad” dog, she just needed to learn some serious manners. When she came home, the girl not only had manners…but she is a really well trained dog. Jenn made this possible. I loved that she included my husband and I in on the training so that we can continue her lessons at home too. Jenn is so knowledgeable about helping dogs and owners become the best fur family. My husband and I are so incredibly thankful we invested in our puppy and in Jenn!

I was initially referred to Jenn by a neighbor whose incredibly well-behaved pup was a testament to the quality of training at Beachwood K9. From the very first interaction, I was impressed by Jenn's approach. During our consulting session, she took the time to thoroughly understand my dog Cowboy’s unique behaviors and personality before making any recommendations. This thoughtful, individualized approach gave me confidence that her 3-Week Board & Train Program was the right choice for Cowboy. Jenn treats every dog like her own, and you can immediately tell she has a natural connection with animals. Cowboy was terrible on a leash before he started working with Jenn, but now he walks confidently by my side. He used to refuse to get out of the car in public, but now he’s eager and self-assured in new environments. Another huge improvement has been his ability to stay in "place" while I'm on Zoom calls for work, rather than roaming around the house. He would also never voluntarily go in his kennel and now he walks right in. Jenn not only worked wonders with Cowboy, but she also helped me understand his needs and how to work with him effectively. Her expertise, dedication, and genuine care for each dog she works with are truly remarkable. We had a great experience with the board and train for our French Bulldog Maggie. She went in with some basic training (sit/stay), but wasn’t able to listen with any distractions around. She hated anything with wheels, and still does, but has learned to control herself around them instead of trying to eat them all! Jenn was super nice, communicative and very helpful even after Maggie came home. Came to our house after Maggie was home to help work with her around our kids riding scooters. Would 100% recommend! Maggie is not jumping when greeting people, able to walk loose leash even around kids and dogs and listening even when distractions are present. Definitely worth the investment and would 100% recommend!
