The first word that comes to mind when describing Beaver Creek Kennels is WOW!! We now have a totally new dog at home. We were hesitant to send our highly overstimulated 2 year old Boston Terrier to a trainer due to the cost, but after doing our research and getting a high recommendation from a friend who sent their dog to Kelsey we bit the bullet and signed our dog up for 4 weeks. We could not be happier with our investment. Our dog Archie was a jumper who ruled the roost in our home. If he got out the front door it was a 30 min contest to catch him. Now no more jumping, no more nipping and comes right our feet on our command. My couches will now last another 5 years since he is sitting on his bed instead of on top of the back pillows. Our only regret is we did not send Archie to Kelsey sooner. I would highly recommend Kelsey.

We sent our two 10-month-old Lab puppies (aka two baby Gremlins) to Beaver Creek Kennels for two months of obedience training. Beforehand, we researched training courses and training boarding facilities within 200 miles as we (of course) wanted to find the best training with four primary drivers: 1. First and foremost, we wanted to ensure our puppies would be safe. 2. Next, we wanted to be sure we received updates on their progress. 3. We of course wanted to be sure the facility did what they said they would do and trained our puppies. 4. And finally, we looked at the cost. I’m very happy to report that Cathy and her team at Beaver Creek Kennels checked all the boxes. While it was of course hard to leave our puppies, the weekly updates really helped. When we were invited to visit mid-way through their program, we saw a massive improvement in their behavior. We also got to see how healthy and happy they looked. Our puppies completed their two-month program this week and they are now home. It’s a night and day difference! The Gremlins are gone and what’s left is exactly what we hoped for – well behaved additions to our family. Cathy and her wonderful team worked hard with puppies, and we will forever be grateful. We are absolutely thrilled with the investment we made!

I’ve used Cathy Hoffman twice with my other two dogs and the results were excellent! When I called about a border collie pup my son got and she referred me to Kelsey Hoffman at their north facility , I was a little iffy about it . Can I say WOW , really loudly in a review . What an awesome job she did ! These two people are great with the training but I most of all they worked them to what I wanted ! You know it’s a great place when the dog wants to stay with the trainer as you try to leave !! Thank you to Kelsey n Cathy Hoffman !

Cathy is a heaven sent professional that gave my pit bull puppy (Ghost) the best experience ever!! Her level of patience, knowledge, and transparency when training Ghost was put to the test because he is a very stubborn dog. But even he caught on quick to her techniques & overall training. Ghost has been home now for about 3 weeks since Graduating the Obedience training and has been the best dog I could ever ask for! If you’re looking for a TOP notch Dog obedience school look no further!!! And as if things couldn’t get any better she also took some great pictures of Ghost used them as progress reports lol Thank you Cathy!!
