Bee Positive Dog Training

We adopted a 6 month old Frenchie/Poodle puppy and were looking for a trainer to help with basic obedience, crate training, bolting out the front door, avoiding separation anxiety, and re-potty training. When fostered, our puppy learned to only pee on potty pads and would never pee outside. Our neighbors referred us to Bara and we're SO glad. Starting from the consultation call, Bara provided very clear guidance on how to effectively communicate with our dog and quickly + effectively teach him. For the crate and outside potty training, Bara gave us a schedule to follow. It seemed intense at first, but within the first 48 hours, our puppy was peeing regularly outside and was comfortable in his crate. Don’t be freaked out by the idea of the schedule - it’s a lifesaver and our puppy remains his *very* happy self. He now pees outside, sleeps quietly in his crate at night, quietly sits when we open the front door, and is comfortable if we leave him alone for periods of time. He’s also is learning obedience commands so quickly and recently graduated to Bara's group obedience classes. I can’t recommend Bara and Bee Positive Training enough!

Bara is AMAZING. She is the dog whisperer. We were referred to Bara by multiple dog owners who shared that she worked miracles with their puppies. We have experienced the same with our two pups. Maverick and Ripley were mesmerized by Bara the moment she stepped through the door. Bara has an incredible EQ and will get to know the family as much as the pup(s) and will find the best path for your family. I love that it's not a one size fits all approach - she will share what can work, why, what may not work...sense what you may or may not feel comfortable with and/or what may/may not work with your lifestyle and together find the next best technique to try. Within just 1 session, we accomplished so much. After the 2nd session, we raved for weeks how much Bara has changed our lives. We highly recommend Bara and Bee Positive Dog Training. You don't need anything else. With just a few sessions, you and your pup will be getting the most joy out of life together!!

It is a great honor to announce that our boy passed the AKC CGC test! Its hard to describe how thankful we are to the guidance and encouragement Bara has been providing us since our first class. Before Bara, we had worked with more than 4 different trainers in both group private classes since our boy was 7-weeks old. Although he was able to perform some basic commands, he did not have solid recall or loose leash walking — which were painful when we wanted to take him to a hike or to a beach. He almost got hit by a car once because he attempted to chase after another dog all at a sudden. Some trainers we used even constantly call him a crazy dog and he got expelled out of the class. We also found ourselves frustrated and sometimes lost temper during training with my boy, which could only brought him more confusion. We are glad that we started working with Bara. We like the mindset that Bara has to work on behaviors with the right language - a combination of reward and consequence. Our boy now effectively knows what we want, and thus enjoys more free time running and exploring. We are able to walk in malls calmly, go to off-leash hikes without worrying about him chasing after wild animals and get hurt. Overall, we highly recommend that if you find Bara’s method might be your gaming changing hope, just go for it.
