Behavior Plus Dog Training

I have been working with Jack close to a year now on my foster fail dog Tank. I have taken a Reactive Class with Frank as well. Behavior Plus is truly lifesaving when you have nowhere else to turn to help. I contacted Behavior Plus after seeing them tagged by The Bloomfield Animal Shelter I was desperate for help with Tank. I couldn't walk this dog without holding a telephone pole or tree to help break my fall if Tank seen another dog. He pulled my dog walker down; he was acting out trying to bite my dog walker and sometimes me. Jack has been nothing short of kind, amazing, easy going, beyond helpful and relatable as well as just a phone call away when you have any questions. Tank has made a complete turnaround and has since learned to live with my other dog Mayweather who has been trained by Jack and Sebastian as well for day board and train. We are still in training and making progress each time. I cannot recommend Behavior Plus enough if you are in the need of training for your dog. Behavior Plus truly works their magic with these dogs their skills and training are top notch.

Jack from Behavior Plus has been phenomenal training us and our two dogs Lucky Bug and Sparky. Lucky Bug was very reactive and redirected on Sparky to the point of drawing blood. Jack showed us how to set boundaries and limitations to help our dogs succeed. We had tried 4 other trainers before Behavior Plus. We even tried medication for Lucky, but she no longer needs it with the strategies we were taught. I would recommend training with Behavior Plus for anyone who needs help training their dogs.

Behavior Plus is outstanding! Their trainers and training methods are both compassionate and thorough. I had an unusual situation with my 1.5 year old Boston Terrier who had severe behavioral issues. They have been combatted with the consistent use of Behavior Plus, and we are enjoying our dog. I cannot recommend them enough. Jack and Sebastian in their Caldwell Location always take time with me to explain what my dog's dog was like and what I need to continue to work on at home. They are extremely supportive and will not stop until you and your pup(s) is happy and behaving well. I am so glad I found Behavior Plus!

We rescued a Welsh Terrier in September of 2024. We needed training as much as he needed the training. Sebina and the team have been incredible to say the least. They have been patient with us, given us homework, have online videos to refer to and really invest in you and your animal. I think the hardest part of the training is knowing how important repetition is with your dog at home. Over several months we have turned a dog that most would have given up hope on into a sweet and obedient best friend. Thank you!

There are no words to describe this program. Before Behavior Plus walking my 95lb American Bully, Ernie, was not an option for me. He was just too strong for me to control. After weeks of training, I’m now walking him by myself! Not only does he walk, but he follows my commands. He is a completely different dog. They didn’t just train Ernie, but me as well.
