Bespoke Canine Training

I want to give my sincere thank you to, Estivin. He went above and beyond with my puppy. He is finally off leash and behaving like a prince. I had interviewed other trainers. Stivin explained exactly how his training worked. I thought I couldn’t have a new puppy. I am disabled with Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid arthritis and a heart defibrillator. He went above and beyond in customer service and helping me take control. My puppy is a mix of French Bulldog and Mini Australian Sheppard.

I cannot recommend Estivin enough! I brought our 4-year-old Rottweiler, Teemo, to him for a month of board-and-train, and the results have been nothing short of life-changing. Before, Teemo was reactive on walks—barking and lunging at birds, dogs, people, bikes, and even cars. Walks were stressful, and I honestly doubted if a dog his age could still be trained out of these behaviors. I worried he might never be able to enjoy public spaces calmly. During Teemo’s stay, Estivin worked with him daily and took him into real-world environments like malls and Armature Works to desensitize him and teach him how to stay calm around distractions. He trained Teemo to walk politely at my side, stop pulling, and ignore his triggers. Estivin also leveraged some of Teemo's favorite activities, like playing with his ball, to creative positive associations with his surroundings. Estivin also provided me with an e-collar and a cot so I could continue reinforcing the training at home. What really impressed me was Estivin’s communication and transparency throughout the process. He gave me regular updates with photos and videos, always explained what he was working on, and set clear, realistic goals for each week. I always felt involved and reassured that Teemo was in the best hands. The transformation has been incredible. Teemo now walks calmly on leash, no longer reacts to everything that moves, and is extremely obedient at home. I was initially nervous that he might come back like a “robot,” but that couldn’t be further from the truth—he’s still the same loving, playful dog, only now he can truly enjoy walks and outings without all the chaos. Even after the official training ended, Estivin continues to check in, answer my questions, and offer helpful pointers. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the dogs he trains and their long-term success. My only regret is not bringing Teemo to him sooner. Estivin completely exceeded my expectations and gave me the gift of being able to enjoy life with my dog in a calmer, happier way. I have the utmost admiration for Estivin’s dedication to his craft—his passion, skill, and love for training shine through in everything he does. Truly a master at what he does.

We brought our one-year-old GoldenDoodle, Toby, to Estevin to address two main challenges: (1) overexcited behavior with visitors (jumping, barking, and hyperactivity), and (2) poor leash manners, as Toby would pull excessively and chase birds during walks. Estevin delivered exceptional results. Toby's jumping and barking have significantly decreased, and his walking behavior has improved dramatically - both on and off leash. He no longer pulls or gets distracted by birds, making our daily walks enjoyable rather than challenging. Thanks to Estevin's training, we can now truly enjoy our time with Toby, whether we're walking or entertaining visitors. Last December, we adopted Blaze, a Malinois X puppy who came with a little bit of extra energy… okay, a LOT of energy. I’ve trained all my dogs myself before, and never had a problem—until Blaze. This guy has a prey drive so strong, I was half expecting him to start chasing his own tail just to see if it moved. At home, he’d listen to commands, but the second we stepped outside, it was like unleashing a Tasmanian Devil. No car, bike, or innocent pedestrian was safe. We followed his instructions to the letter and in just a month, Blaze is a whole new dog. We can finally walk without fear of him lunging into traffic or trying to drag me into a bush to chase a squirrel. Now, he listens, stays calm, and I don’t need to hold my breath every time a car drives by.
