Erin is the fourth trainer that I've worked with this year, and I have to so say that I appreciate her approach the most. In my experience, many dog trainers are knowledgeable, but they can struggle with communication, empathy, and the business side of things. Erin was incredibly down-to-earth, professional, honest, and empathetic. In addition to emphasizing the foundational work that no other trainer seemed to prioritize, she was very kind and listened to me vent and provided "therapy sessions" as I struggled to navigate my dog's reactivity problems. I was skeptical of doing remote training at first, but I ended up finding it perfect for the stage that my dog and I were at in our training journey.

I couldn’t have asked for better training for me and my puppy. Erin is professional, knowledgeable and keeps all the sessions focused on your unique needs in addition to basic training. The materials on-line are very helpful and reinforce what you learn in class. The tips and tricks from her depth of experience are extremely valuable and I continue to use the resources she provided as we navigate adolescence. I would highly recommend working with Erin. She truly is magical and a dog whisperer.

Last summer we adopted two large/giant breed rescue puppies, 3 months apart in age. We found Erin shortly after, and she has been such a tremendous help to us! The individualized help has been invaluable. She provides thoughtful assessments in each session and helps you and your dog achieve success where you're at "now" with lots of tips on how to build on it towards your goals. She has great advice on how to fit mini training opportunities into your day without requiring blocks of time that can be well intended but difficult to achieve. She demonstrates and observes, and helps to point out the little things you may be unintentionally teaching just because of timing, etc. Learning when to change your setting to achieve success when distractions are too high or your dog isn't "there yet" developmentally was especially helpful to me. Sometimes it's easy to expect more than what is reasonable in a given situation. Slow and steady wins the race! I especially enjoyed learning the science and psychology behind the training methods. The weekly training goal handouts are very helpful to refer back to on the steps of what you learned. Clicker training was very fun and our puppies love it! Erin has been 100 percent responsive for any questions I've had both between our sessions and since our training package was completed. She provides a wealth of information on so many topics. We love working with Erin! The puppies are always excited to see her and come home exhausted and sleep all afternoon! We highly recommend her!

I recently completed a series of training sessions with Erin. She is an amazing trainer. My dog Jake needed some socialization skills and Erin helped us get to a positive path in achieving our goal. She provided instruction, strategies, and feedback that was easy to understand. Her techniques made sense and she explained everything. Erin was available for questions that came up during my training sessions at home. She even met us in town for “on the job” training.
