Best By Farr Dog Training

We did the puppy to big dog training with Chris and it was a great experience. Our dog Duke is a golden Irish retriever and is about 75 pounds. When we got Duke we knew we wanted to send him to training, we have a 3 year old and we needed a well behaved family dog that we could trust. Duke went to his first round of training at 6 months and it was a crazy difference. Before training I didn't feel comfortable walking him because he pulled so badly but after training he was night and day difference with walking. He also learned place and sit with his first round of puppy training. When Duke went back for his adult round of training and came back I was blow away with how amazing he is. Dukes recall is amazing, we place him in any situation, sits, downs, settles in most situations, walks on and off leash, runs with me, and my husband bikes with him. To say Chris's training is life changing for our family is an understatement. Chris and his family have been amazing to work with and Duke is so in love with them.

We can’t say enough great things about Chris and his amazing training program! We have a Belgian Malinois, and originally brought him in for obedience training. Chris not only exceeded our expectations but also showed us just how capable and intelligent our dog is. After seeing the incredible progress, we decided to continue with family protection training, and we’ve been blown away by the results. Even though we weren’t present for the sessions themselves, it’s clear from the transformation in our dog that Chris pours his heart into what he does. His passion for animals and training is evident in the way our dog responded to him and learned so quickly. His wife is also involved, and she’s absolutely wonderful. She brings so much warmth and energy to the experience and makes you feel like part of the family. Together, they create an environment that’s professional, supportive, and caring. If you’re looking for a trainer who’s skilled, knowledgeable, and has a genuine love for animals, we highly recommend Chris. Thanks to him, we have not just a well-trained dog but also a confident family member who’s an absolute joy to have around.

We are SO grateful for the wonderful training that our dog received at Best By Farr. Chris did an amazing job with our three year old rescue that had leash aggression issues. What Chris was able to accomplish with Murphy in just three weeks was very impressive, and worth every penny! And it was obvious from the videos that Chris shared of Murphy’s progress each week, and in our subsequent visits for OUR training, that Murphy was very comfortable in Chris’ care. We had every confidence that he was in good hands, being well taken care of, and trained to be the dog we will now enjoy taking for walks. We are also very grateful for the dog-parent training that WE received. Chris was patient, offered very clear instructions, and gave us feedback in a very positive manner. We were probably harder to train than Murphy, so we really appreciate the time and attention we received in our sessions. Best by Farr was exceptional to work with. We brought our 9 month old Golden to them, he was rambunctious and hard to control due to his size, making walking him nearly impossible. He was overly rough with play biting and jumping as well. Thanks to Best by Farr, our Golden now 10 months has maintained his goofy personality but become a mature dog who listens and is much easier to control. The biting and rough play has stopped as well as walking him has become a breeze. Best by Farr also trained us in the techniques they implemented in order to make the home transition flawless.
