Chris was great to work with! We did private lessons, and learned so many great fundamentals we can apply to all different situations. He has a deep understanding of dogs and their behavior and is great at explaining things in an easy to understand way. He's always avaliable for questions via text or phone, and flexible with your schedule. Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trainer!

Chris was a true professional in training our Weimaraner, Meb over the 3 week training course. Meb, who is 6 years old with engrained habits, came out of the course much more obedient. Chris also took the time to teach us how best to communicate with him and keep our training consistent. We are excited to continue working with Meb on all we have learned and will plan to use Chris’s help with future dogs as well!

My husband and I enlisted Chris Farr for private lessons for us and our 8-month-old shelter dog, Elvis. This was a rockstar decision. We now have a well-trained dog and are better dog parents. Chris is excellent at explaining what our dog Elvis was thinking and how he was making decisions. Chris was tremendous at giving us feedback about what we were doing right as we were handling Elvis. And he diplomatically let us know what we were doing incorrectly, why and how to make little changes for a big impact. Chris had a lot of patience with us as Elvis was a much quicker learner! Chris is very smart, thoughtful and funny. The lessons went by like a flash. The training was fantastic and we would do it again. We highly recommend Chris Farr’s training for anyone looking to improve their dog and their relationship with their dog. And, by the way, Elvis is probably part hound dog and has been eyeing my blue suede shoes.
