We can't recommend Chris enough for the board and train program we did with our dog, Stella. Stella was 1.5 years old when we sent her for the 3-week board and train, and she needed it. She really only knew "sit" and "lay," and walking her was a struggle. By the end of the 3 weeks, she was almost a completely different dog. What really set Chris apart was everything that came after. We were moving internationally to Spain, and Chris made sure to research Spain's regulations ahead of time so that the methods and tools he used with Stella would actually be usable once we got there. Then, rather than just handing us a trained dog, he made time every single week for private lessons with us to make sure we knew how to correctly handle her before the move. My only regret is not doing this when she was a puppy instead of waiting until 1.5, though I imagine it would've been even easier at that age. Even so, the transformation and the value we got for the price were excellent. 100% recommend Chris if you want a trainer who cares about the outcome long after the program ends, not just the training window itself.

1000% recommend. Chris is the real deal. He has a deep understanding of the communication barrier between dogs and humans, and has the solution for creating understanding. My 5 month old German Shepherd went from tugging at my leash causing calluses on my hands, to walking by my side with a loose leash within weeks. Thanks to Chris, I enjoy time with my dog much more now. In addition to the incredible foundation that Chris established for my dog and I in the private lessons, he also taught me the method that can be used for continuing our training outside of the classroom. It’s worth every penny.
