Best Dog Training Academy

Whitney with Om Dog Club has done such amazing work getting our 2 year old Dalmatian to be a cordial and less reactionary dog when we go on walks. Before his training with Whitney, Arlo would pull and jerk on the leash to go wherever his focus was. The few word commands we had taught him didn’t work when we’d try to get him under control, which made us feel like taking him for walks was more a chore than an enjoyable pastime. We love that Whitney got to know Arlo, working with him at his level and not pushing him to do more than he was willing to give. She was very considerate and mindful when working with Arlo, and taught him within 4 weeks how to walk without pulling or reacting much to other dogs. She taught us how to redirect when he would look like he would start reacting to another dog or go in a direction we weren’t guiding him. She also is incredibly knowledgeable and explained the workings of a dog’s mind to help us understand why they behave the way they do. We will be returning to Om Dog Club for any further training we find we need. Arlo loved working with Whitney and we are so happy with the results she was able to produce.

Whitney helped my wild pug mix to find his confidence and happy place! He was pretty anxious and distracted going in for the board and train program but came out with some focus and new skills that we will continue to build on. She gave us all the tools and gave him more than a great foundation to work with. We couldn’t be happier with his progress. Highly recommend the board and train especially if you’re busy and don’t have the confidence to train a wild pup.

Whitney is THE BEST! We took Tuck, our 1 year old Golden Retriever to her for a three week board & train, and she did amazing work with him. Our lives have dramatically changed since getting him back. He listens to us better than ever off leash, and our family is amazed by his in house manners. We got a new dog and a new lease on life having a well behaved large dog in our family. Thank you OM DOG!

We were struggling with our 8 mo old lab because she was so unruly. Couldn’t really enjoy her. After 3 wks with Sage, our Betty Lou is a changed girl. She listens, responds to commands, stays on her “place” until released. And she is a joy to walk. No more pulling. We can hardly believe it. Sage sent us texts and videos daily so we could see her progress. We are forever grateful to Sage because we are enjoying our “wild child”!
