Better Bonds Training LLC

Sonny has been so pawsitive and helpful since we started with Better Bonds! We adopted a young rescue American Pittie in June 2021 (to the despair of our 13 year old hound mix, Luna) and realized we were in over our heads with her training. We originally thought Astra was a little dumb, but after working with Sonny, we learned that we were SO WRONG. We were the dumb ones (my words, not Sonny's 🤣). My partner and I couldn't agree on ways to train, so bringing in Better Bonds helped get the humans on the same page and to help Astra integrate into our family. Our initial training series was meant for Astra, but Luna has really enjoyed learning alongside her sister and is proof that old dogs CAN learn new tricks. Astra is still in training, but has been a great Pit Bull representative in our neighborhood by befriending 4 old ladies with her sweet personality and sweetness. Without the skills that we learned from Sonny with Better Bonds, I really do not think we (mom, dad & sister) would have such a great relationship with Astra after 5 months. Someday, with the foundation created at Better Bonds, Astra will be a therapy dog, visiting little old ladies all across DBQ!
