Better Dog Training

A while ago I was suggested by several rescues to euthanize my dog due to her reactivity. I couldn’t do that and instead I searched and found the best trainer out there. Mark is incredible. Prior to training , I couldn’t get my dog to walk into the vet (she also has anxiety). I would have to call the vet upon arrival and have help physically carrying her in. Since training, Mark was able to easily get her to walk into Lowe’s on her own and teach me how to stand my ground with her. She also recently attended and succeeded in her first group class with several other dogs around. I also have a malanois mix who up until recently could almost pop my shoulder out of place on walks. He has not only done a 180 on walks but has learned to control his energy at the house with guests over as well. To say I’m grateful for Mark and his training is an understatement. I’m finding peace in my house again.

Better Dog Training has been amazing training Diamond and deserve a HUGE thank you! I adopted Diamond as a very reactive dog, I could barely bring her in public. I tried to train her and just felt helpless. After just a few sessions with Better Dog Training, she is like a different dog! It’s amazing. My mom adopted a Dachsund-Chihuhua mix that we discovered was very fearful of new people and would attempt to bite anyone unknown to her. We tried to overcome this issue on our own, but had no luck so I contacted Better Dog Training. I worked initially with Mark, but was transferred to Chelsea. Chelsea is totally amazing and worked patiently with me to teach Sophie to overcome her fears and be confident in her interactions. She's now a very happy dog who greets new people willingly with eye contact and tail wagging that often leads to lap sitting. No harsh methods were ever suggested and all new behaviors were learned solely with positive reinforcement.
