Mark Thompson has helped me train two of our dogs, both of whom were young rescue dogs. Mark met each of them where they were in their development and tailored the training to meet their specific needs. Most importantly, he also worked with me to be a better dog owner on all levels. Mark’s highly professional training has enabled us to create a home/family environment for Pilgrim and Oscar in which they could feel confident and secure. We had shopped around for the best option for our small dog for training. We had been recommended by a friend to the better place kennel. They referred us to Dog Training in your home. Our small dog quickly is now house broken, will not jump up on people, and continuing to work on learning commands. The monthly group sessions are great. Mark is knowledgable and cares about the pets greatly!

I thought I would never be able to have my dog, Ruckus, around another dog ever again. He was extremely aggressive towards dogs, and was starting to turn on people too. Mark Thompson (Better Dog Training) was my third, and most likely last, dog trainer. He was Ruckus’ last hope (and mine). The best word to describe what Mark has accomplished with Ruckus, is UNBELIEVABLE! He’s truly a miracle worker. Ruckus is no longer dog-aggressive, he obeys my every command flawlessly and he is finally the perfect companion I always wanted. I HIGHLY recommended Better Dog Training.

I have a German Shepherd, who WAS extremely aggressive to the point I could not have people in my home. I couldn't even take her to the park. After working with Mark Thompson at Dog Training In Your Home, I can now safely have people in my home and take my girl for rides and to the park. We can even enjoy off leash camping on the lake!
