Beyond Obedience Dog Training

Jenny and her team are amazing! We have a 5yo female husky and a 6mo male cane corso that were good dogs, but had no discipline or boundaries or obedience. We knew that the puppy was going to get large quick and was picking up on the husky’s bad habits which was going to be disastrous, so we looked and finally reached out to Jenny. Drop off on Monday was a breeze, and it really let us clean the house, dog free for the week! She sent updates daily and uploaded photos and videos of some of the training tips for us so we could continue with the same practice during the weekend. Each week their behavior, reactions, and discipline was noticeably improved, and after three weeks, we almost had new dogs. The is super important for us as we’re currently out of state on a camping trip with them both, and I couldn’t imagine how much more difficult it would be prior to their training. They still want to look and see and get involved, but they listen 100% better, are much more comfortable in the to surroundings, which makes them easier to redirect and be in more social situations. Owner Jenny and her assistant Alora worked some doggie magic with Tommy, my young poodle mix, an adoptee who knew no commands and would latch on to my other small dog, tugging until it hurt. It was relentless and very stressful. Tommy lacked structure and training, but I did not have the skills to cope. Now, after his several weeks of training at Beyond Obedience, Tommy obeys key commands, responds to corrections, and behaves well in a variety of environments! It is important to know that owners must be consistent in reinforcing the foundation that has been laid. There was a time when I thought I might have to surrender Tommy back to the adoption agency because his behavior was so out-of-bounds, but no longer. Thank you, Jenny and Alora!

Jenny is amazing!!! We came to her with a very reactive 18 month old female German Shepherd named Micah. Life with Micah was like living with Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. She is the sweetest and best girl at home but a psychopath the second she saw another dog. It was very difficult to take her on walks or anywhere out in the world. She can be very scary when she’s using her angry bark… We researched several programs and felt most comfortable choosing Beyond Obedience Dog Training. I felt that Micah obeyed Dad and disregarded anything I (Mom) said so I wanted a female trainer. The board and train program best fit our needs and let me tell you, it was worth every penny! I received multiple pictures, videos and texts during her stay. This calmed my heart from day one. I could see and hear how loving Jenny was with her. I had open communication and knew she was in great and capable hands. We got her back today and she is a different dog. She did not react to not one dog today. She is calm, relaxed and happy. She is a working line GSD and she needs a lot of playtime and we know we still have a lot of work to keep her life as fulfilling as possible. We also know that training will be an ongoing process and must practice everyday but now I can do that with significantly less fear and anxiety. I can’t wait to take her all the places!!! If I had to some up with just a few words, I know we usually say, Life changing but this was literally “Dog Changing”. We already knew we had a smart puppy but she was able to bring out the best in her when we could not fully realize her potential. We now have a dog that is attentive on walks, that doesn’t pull, that will change directions on two simple words. I haven’t ever been this excited about owning a dog and any other dog we get in the future she will be a part of their lives, as well as, she will continue to always board our dog when we are out of town. The personalization you get is unmatched you would think your dog was there by themselves if it weren’t for pictures of other dogs around yours at times. Amazing work!! And thank you!
