Beyond Obedience Dog Training

At the time, I sent my unconfident, and very stressed out one year-old pit mix to Jenny for an advanced board and train. The difference was complete night and day. Jenny is an absolute master at her craft, and it doesn’t stop there. She continuously educate herself and seeks out More training for herself and her own trainers that are underneath her. I have never met somebody so dedicated to bettering not an owner‘s life, but a dog‘s life! Her goal is to not only make a dog owner’s life easier, but to build confidence, And help dogs realize that it’s OK to relax! I wholeheartedly, recommend Jenny, without any reservations!

Jenn boarded and trained my 9 1/2 month old Brittany puppy (Chief) while my husband and I were on a 2 week vacation. While Chief had completed several obedience classes, and was enrolled in a service dog in training program, his heeling in unfamiliar environments was questionable when he arrived at Jenn’s home and training Center. Fast forward two weeks and Chief was able to heel at the side of Jenn’s young son. This is indeed remarkable. Moreover he stays in place in a down or seated position until released. Our neighbors immediately noticed how much his heeling has improved. Jenn is knowledgeable about training tools. She recommended a new brand of Ecollar that is easier to use than the DogTra collar we used before, and a combo slip leash and head collar that is much better tolerated than the gentle leader we were using previously with this Brittany puppy. I want to share that at the end of Chief’s Board and Train program, Jenn brought the pup back to our home and she spent several hours answering our questions and privately teaching us to use the training tools that were new to us. She did not leave until she was sure we understood how to use the tools to maintain Chief’s new skills. If I was more savvy with technology I would have added videos to these photos, but trust that I recommend Jenn’s training with full confidence!

Jenny has worked with 3 of our dogs now and we have had amazing results! They all absolutely love her and as soon as our pit mix sees her he goes straight into training mode. We are able to take our dogs to play off leash in a clearing by our house and know they will come back consistently when recalled. She has become part of our family over time and we trust her over anyone with our furry family members.
