Beyond Obedience, LLC

We outreached to Beyond Obedience, LLC to manage the interactions between our female dogs. Kirstin was honest and respectful of not only our wishes, but also our pets overall wellness. She is highly knowledgable, helpful, and engaging. She provided us with skills, resources, and tools that have improved our outlook on our reactive dog’s behaviors. We learned so much to improve our training and continue to move forward. We continue to have training and work to do but it has been well worth all the effort. Since she is able to come to the home, it felt extra personalized and functional to our family’s personal needs. We would highly recommend to friends and family.

Beyond Obedience really helped us figure out how to prepare our dog for the arrival of our first child. We wanted to make sure we did everything we could so that the first introduction between our dog and baby went well, and it was such a relief when the tactics Kirstin gave us paid off. We really didn't know where to begin with how to introduce the baby so our dog could have the easiest adjustment possible to our loud, wiggly baby. Kirstin worked with us to prepare us and our dog and we are so glad we put in the work before the baby arrived. It made the transition so much easier and we can't recommend Kirstin enough!

We are very grateful to Beyond Obedience in helping to acclimate a 22 month old male Golden into our home. During her three visits, Kirstin taught us how to make his adjustment from kennel life to home life, including the promotion of desirable behavior with our ten year old female. She explains the rationale for everything she teaches and in doing so, helps us to strive for consistency while making it fun. Her professional summaries and written suggestions arrive within hours following the training sessions and serve as an invaluable refresher for my husband and myself.
