Beyond the Dog

I cannot state enough how indebted my wife and I are to Erin, and the team at Beyond the Dog. Quick Background: 2023 marked the year our pugs randomly decided that they could no longer co-exist; fighting and inflicting wounds on each other if given the opportunity. After months of keeping them separate, trying to work it out on our own, and my wife and I residing on different levels of the house, we raised the white flag and looked to an actual expert...cue, Beyond the Dog. Outcome: Erin met with us a few times a week for multiple months and was able to get the pugs back in the right mindset and bring sanity back to our household. She was so efficient that near the tail end [pun intended] she found time to also work on their responsiveness to strangers both at the park and at retail locations. I will be the first to admit that I was skeptical of how all of this would pan out - especially given the monetary cost that bringing an expert in entails. That said, the harmony restored to our household, coupled with my wife's joy in being able to take group photos again, quickly converted the cost into an investment. Truly, "thank you" to the folks at Beyond the Dog for providing such services to the public, and to Erin for implementing said services in a manner that was above and beyond [another pun intended]. We reached out to Beyond the Dog as we were having issues with a temperamental corgi and our other dogs. We had a quick consultation where we picked a package that would be best suited for our situation. Tiffany, our trainer, worked with us and our dogs multiple times a week during the process and the turnaround we've seen has been fantastic. We were constantly stressed before training as the smallest thing could set off a fight and Tiffany and Beyond the Dog did fantastic job in helping us overcome those issues. Would highly recommend them!

We love our trainer, Erin!!! From the initial call with Sean (he is phenomenal) to every interaction with the Beyond the Dog team/family has been beyond amazing. We have a 14-month old Newfoundland, named Mowgli whom I had not been away from longer than a couple hours a few separate times since bringing him home at nine weeks old. I’m clearly the one with separation anxiety. We had our annual extended family vacay coming up and I was a nervous wreck being away from Mowgli the first time. I did my research and quickly found Beyond the Dog to be the perfect fit. We completed the board & in-home training program with Erin. She is fabulous & so dear to our hearts. Mowgli adored Erin from the moment she stepped foot in our home, and so did my entire family. Erin’s training, her love, patience, brilliance, and devotion provided Mowgli & all of us such comfort in knowing he was in the best hands and treated like family when he was in her home. While we were on our trip, Erin kept us updated with Mowgli ‘s progress & sent pics/ videos. We are over the moon for Erin. Mowgli has such great house manners now…we no longer worry about him jumping up & accidentally knocking someone out with his 135 lb of muscle puppy fluff. Mowgli no longer pulls on our walks, and his T-Rex play biting moments have become extinct. I could go on and on with all the exceptional instruction & care Erin has given us. Erin explains and demonstrates her training skills clearly; giving us the tools and consistent concepts that has formed a life-changing foundation and bond with our furbaby, Mowgli.
