Beyond the Dog - Dallas

Beyond expectations!! Megan is a miracle worker. Our 1.5 year old shelter pup was unwalkable because he was so reactive that it was dangerous for everyone involved (he pulled me over and ran across a busy street). After the first week, we already saw major improvement. Now, we get compliments from strangers not only about how cute he is but about how calm and well behaved he is! The in-home structure of the program was extremely convenient for our busy schedules. The psychology based training philosophy is incredibly effective and felt kind. Megan was so patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. I always knew our pup was in good hands, and he absolutely loves her (he was more excited to see her when she came for her last follow up lesson than he is to see me come home half the time). This was truly an incredible experience that helped us be the dog owners we want to be. I can’t recommend Megan enough!!!

If we could give Megan and Beyond the Dog more than 5 stars, we would! Megan has been excellent working with our 2 dogs! We recently rescued a puppy. We were nervous about how we would integrate our new dog into our busy lives and how we would make sure our new puppy would get along with our existing dog. Megan did an incredible job not only training our dogs but giving us the tips and tricks we needed to build on her excellent training. Megan made the process of training our puppy and integrating our new puppy into our lives an easy process. It was clear working with Megan that she wants the best for us and our dogs. She asked us questions about what our goals were, what was working and what wasn't over the course of a week, and followed up with detailed notes for us so we could build on her training in-between sessions. Working with Beyond the Dog and Megan is one of the best decisions we have made and we would recommend her to anyone looking for dog training!

My husband and I were nearing our wits end when it came to integrating our new dog into the household. I found Beyond The Dog and with such great reviews and after speaking on the phone with them, we ultimately decided to move forward with the 5 week inclusive program. Let me tell you — NIGHT AND DAY difference and WORTH EVERY CENT!!! Megan M. is an absolute rockstar and you could tell she really knows what she's doing and that she really cares. It was so great getting to know her and watch how she works. You would think with this being a dog company they wouldn't work too much with the cats, but they were fully integrated from the start. We just wrapped up our second follow-up today so we are officially all done and it was a bittersweet day for all. (Cincy, Mister, and Kei obviously don't know she isn't coming back, but I know they'll be confused come next week.) Mixed emotions now that we've reached the end, but also so proud of how far we've all come in just 5 weeks. Thank you Beyond The Dog and thank you Megan!!! ❤️

We had Claire help our dog with her separation anxiety over a 5-week program, and extra three weeks of follow-up appointments. She is so knowledgeable, competent, and has an amazing personality to boot. Our dog has completely transformed thanks to her training and guidance and we are now able to leave her for 4 hours at a time, while we were not able to leave her for 3 minutes before. The training was worth every cent!
