We had the best experience with Beyond the Dog and our trainer, Lindsey! Astro, my 8 month old shepard/husky mix, needed help with reactivity towards strangers and cars, leash walking skills, and getting comfortable with car rides so he was enrolled in the all inclusive training program. Lindsey worked so much better with Astro than I could ever hope for. With Lindsey’s guidance Astro almost completely stopped reacting towards bystanders sharing the same sidewalk, was able to go on walks during busy traffic hours without fear, and his hesitation towards car rides has greatly reduced! He freely enters the car as soon as the door opens as opposed to resisting with even muscle in his body. I loved seeing how much Astro enjoyed the training sessions and how he was excited to see Lindsey every time. He had this visible change in excitement with uncontrollable tail wags and bunny hops when he would see her. Lindsey was able to work on specific behaviors that transformed Astro into a more confident and attentive pup! I also appreciated how she would send me photo updates during the training sessions. Best of all, Lindsey was more than accommodating to my ever fluctuating schedule when it came to follow up sessions. She always reminded me that she is just one text away for any questions or concerns and that support and commitment to Astro is unmatched!! He also loves his custom bandanas. Thank you, Lindsey!! :) Looking forward to using Beyond the Dog again for future maintenance!

Ben was our trainer for Mabel , this is the second round of training for Mabel different issues for her reactivity was addressed ! This time it was for reactivity towards other dogs! Once again Ben didn’t disappoint Mabel is doing so much better and is learning every day . Ben introduced different training methods and did a very awesome job in teaching Mabel and us how to deal with this! We will see you next year for the maintenance program ! Thank you Ben !

I can’t say enough good things about Shyenne as a dog trainer! She has been amazing with Rocco, my Cavapoo. From day one, she connected with him on a level that was so comforting to see. Her training methods are both effective and positive, which has made Rocco eager to learn and improve. Rocco used to struggle with jumping, barking, and all around bad habits, but thanks to Shyenne’s expertise and patience, he has made incredible progress. She not only worked with Rocco but also took the time to teach me how to maintain and reinforce his training at home. She is professional, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what she does. When we contacted Beyond the Dog, we were at the end of our rope with our 9 month Goldendoodle, Percy. He wouldn’t listen to us at all and was actively destroying our house. Things changed so quickly the moment we got plugged in with our trainer, Shyenne, from BTD. She immediately understood our concerns and started working with us on solutions. The progress we saw in just a month of their program was nothing short of a full transformation. Percy is now very well behaved: no more counter surfing, no more jumping on guests, no more destroying the furniture. And he has mastered his basic commands and immediately listens to us when commanded. He’s a different dog in the best way. Shyenne was amazing to work with. She made herself available to us outside of training and was always just a text message away for questions. It felt like she personally invested in us and Percy’s progress, and we are so thankful to gave found her! Percy also obviously loves her and is extra well behaved the moment she walks in the door. We are picky about who we leave our animals with and have never had a doubt about Shyenne. We will continue to work with BTD as needed for our golden guy and will come to them for all future pups.

Beyond the dog is great! Abby helped us with our pup who was having a hard time adjusting to an apartment life as a rescue. Through her great skill, knowledge, and patience Abby completely changed our dog! Within just a couple of weeks he went from being uncontrollably reactive to every person and dog to a well behaved pet of the month! We went from trying to avoid other people and dogs to having a great time in the dog park! He is a completely different dog and is so much happier and so are we. Thank you guys!
