We can’t say enough about how much Scott has helped our dog, Hope. Before training, she was very much in “I’m the boss” mode territorial, protective, and not socializing well with other people. Scott quickly understood her behavior and gave us clear, consistent tools to help her feel secure and understand her place in the pack. Through his calm, confident approach, we saw a huge transformation. Hope is now much more relaxed, listens better, and is far more comfortable around new people. Scott didn’t just train our dog he trained us, too, showing us how to communicate with Hope in a way she understands. We’re so grateful for his patience, expertise, and the lasting results. I didn’t think I could ever get my beagles under control until I met with Scott. I wanted so much To be able to let them run freely when I take them in the woods, but I really didn’t think it was possible. Scott customized his visits with me And addressed my desires. I am beyond happy now that I can take my dogs in the woods and be leash free . Even when we encounter other dogs, my Mollie , who used to bark at everything and anything ,doesn’t pose any problems. Suffice to say I was an absolute depressed and anxiety ridden basket case. And now I’m in heaven when I take these two crazy rescue beagles in the woods-.thanks to Scott.

Life-Changing Dog Training Experience! We brought our four-year-old Lab/Shar-Pei mix to Scott at Beyond the Leash after struggling with leash pulling, jumping, and general anxiety. She’s a sweet girl but knew we needed help, and Scott delivered beyond our expectations. Scott is incredibly patient, supportive, and easy to work with. He’s a consummate professional who clearly understands dogs and how to bring out their best. Thanks to his guidance and our daily practice, our dog now walks calmly on the leash and responds to commands beautifully. The transformation has been amazing. Scott’s training is worth every penny. Apparently you can teach an old dog new tricks or at least Scott and Jess can! After 9 years of excessive barking, severe anxiety and behavioral issues, we decided to call Beyond the Leash for our 9 year old mini dachshund Penny. She is the love of ours lives and we adore her but after our second child was born in the midst of babies crying, I was at my wits end and desperately needed to make a change for both Penny and our family. We sent Penny to three weeks of board and train and when she returned home, we welcomed a new, calm, well behaved but most important, a happy and healthy dog. Scott and Jess provided us with all the tools we needed to continue to succeed and stay on top of the training. Dachshunds are such An amazing breed but also extremely difficult to train. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and truly trust them with our little ween- including an essential nail trim and teeth brushing session!
