BFF Canine Obedience

The lion has laid down with the lamb! We adopted a 90 lb. pit bull mix in February. He's so sweet and loving--except when he saw my 15-yr. old indoor cat. Suddenly his "prey instinct" kicked into high gear and he would focus only on her and then attack (fortunately he doesn't fit under the bed so she had a safe place). It was frightening. So we called Lee. He recognized the behavior and set up a session to help us in our home. Not only did he show us how to stop the attacks, but he also spent time with us to educate us on how to be better owners of a 90 lb. dog. Since that session a month ago, there haven't been any attacks! In fact, just yesterday we were resting in bed with the dog and the cat both on the bed with us!!! Thank you, Lee.

We are experienced dog owners but got a new large breed puppy that will be growing up around 3 small children so we sought out Le's help with training are dog. First, let me say that Le is fantastic and that he exceeded our expectations. He helped frame our mindset about how to approach a large dog and to integrate it into the family. He performed 5 in-home sessions to help capture our dog's behavior in her natural environment. Since we got her as a puppy she did not have significant behavioral issues, but he guided us in the best ways to train and socialize her so that she didnt develop any bad habits. He showed us methods for teaching some basic, but critical, commands. Finally, our ultimate goal was to be able to walk our dog "off leash", which always seemed like an unattainable goal with our previous dogs. But with Le's help she is currently 6months old and walking extremely well off leash! Thanks so much to Le and all his help. We highly recommend him for anyone looking for a dog trainer!

We asked Le to help us introduce our 5 year old rescued pitbull and our new 3 month rescued puppy for the first time. Our older dog has shown signs of reactivity to other dogs so we were nervous on how a new puppy in the home could go. We wanted to do introductions the best and safest way. To improve as owners and build the knowledge of what we should be looking for with both dogs for their safety and happiness. Le was able to fit us into his schedule the same week we called. He arrived on time at our home and we got straight to work. He listened to our concerns, met our dogs and formed a plan. He is very calm and knowledgeable which helped us feel more relaxed. He worked closely with our dogs, taking control of them during first interactions while explaining what was going on and what to look out for. He was patient with them and always sided on safety. He explained techniques and then guided us as we did them ourselves. We were able in 1 session to introduce our dogs, on lead, off lead, let them have play fights, introduce them around our home and even have them play in the yard together. He answered all our questions, gave us steps to continue moving forward and in the few days since we’ve kept seeing improvements in our dogs Couldn’t have asked for more from our time together. I was devastated when my two dogs started becoming uncontrollably aggressive towards each other. After just one session with Le, their aggression has been almost completely snuffed out. He was patient, knowledgeable, and empathetic towards our situation. He did not take advantage of our desperation by recommending more training sessions then necessary and took the time to answer each and every question we threw his way. Besides correcting their aggressive episodes, we also received Le’s help with loose leash walking and general obedience for both our adult dog (6 years old) and our puppy (9 months old). Le has a huge fan in me and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for help with training.
