FirstBarkBig Hair Animal Rescue and Pet Care is AMAZING! Jess the owner treats all the dogs like her own. She is extremely knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond. We adopted two of our dogs from Big Hair Rescue and all 3 of our dogs attend Big Hair Daycare twice a week. We are truly blessed to have found such a wonderfully caring and professional owner and business.

Dog training and boarding services. Healthy conditioning for all breeds including dogs with bite histories, dog aggression, leash reactivity and/or stranger danger. Most problematic behaviors stem from fear and being out of practice. This can often lead owners to practice avoidance and unintentionally cater to their dog’s fears and insecurities. Practicing avoidance often makes a dog’s world smaller and subsequently fears even bigger. It’s never too late to address your dog’s training needs! The goal of training is to always build confidence and better prepared you and your dog for real world practice.

I have taken my dogs to many daycares and will never go anywhere else now. The excitement they show when they see Jessica is wonderful. Jessica takes the time to get to know each dogs personality and the level of trust you see these dogs have with her is just amazing.
If you want your dog taken care of appropriately and to have an absolutely good time, this is a top spot! Jessica and her partner are caring dedicated individuals who have saved hundreds upon hundreds of lives in the rescue community and truly loves all dogs like they are their own. Don’t think twice. My Boston Terrier mix Allie loves spending two days a week at Big Hair Pet Care. Not only does she come home completely worn out, she has learned A LOT from Jessica. This is something you don't really get from other doggy day cares. Its not a one size fits all. Each dog gets what it needs, whether it be running all day or just hanging out in the fresh air. I have also had Jessica come to my house to walk Allie and I always come home to a tired and happy dog.
