FirstBarkJessica is top notch all around!! She knows dogs and their behaviors and knows how to not only teach the pups to be responsible but the parents and families too! We have three rescue pups from her and all have different backgrounds and she has provided us wonderful advice to help them adapt best and us too!

Dog training and boarding services. Healthy conditioning for all breeds including dogs with bite histories, dog aggression, leash reactivity and/or stranger danger. Most problematic behaviors stem from fear and being out of practice. This can often lead owners to practice avoidance and unintentionally cater to their dog’s fears and insecurities. Practicing avoidance often makes a dog’s world smaller and subsequently fears even bigger. It’s never too late to address your dog’s training needs! The goal of training is to always build confidence and better prepared you and your dog for real world practice.

After a very important and through application I adopted "Maggie". Jessica was a great support through the process. She has an amazing program and a even more amazing understanding at helping the dogs she services. These dogs are given their hopes and dreams back. Without her I don't know if these dogs would have survived. My heartfelt thanks to to Jessica. Would highly recommend her program of training and adoption.
Excellent animal rescue and training! The owner is super knowledgeable, helpful, and sincerely cares about the animals in her care. We adopted our dog from her almost three years ago and she has always been supportive through our training questions and health questions. Look no further for pet adoption and training!!! She so experienced!!! 🐾

5 Years Ago we adopted our sweet Sophie from BHAR, the mission here is VERY clear.... their job is to connect dogs with a suitable family (sometimes the dog you want isn't right for you) when we started looking we fell in love with a handsome pup name Harvey, but our lifestyle, family and home wasn't quite right for his needs... at that moment I KNEW I wanted to adopt from BHAR, I respected their decision to deny us... but more than that I respected the fact that they genuinely love and care for every animal that comes into their rescue. Not every rescue dog is a sweet little puppy with no trauma (none of us are lol) Thank you so much, Jessica, for connecting us with the right dog for our family, she is one of a kind & everything we could have asked for!
