Nick at Big Nick K9 worked miracles with our five-year-old French Bulldog, Tessa. Tessa had always done well with visiting dogs, so we decided to rescue a three-year-old English Bulldog. Over time, however, Tessa developed severe resource guarding and became increasingly aggressive toward our new dog. We were heartbroken and had reached the point where we believed we would have to rehome one of our beloved pets. Then we found Nick. In just six weeks, Nick completely transformed Tessa's behavior. He helped eliminate her aggression and resource guarding while also teaching her to consistently follow commands. Just as importantly, he trained us, making sure we had the knowledge and tools to maintain her progress long after the training was over. Nick exceeded every expectation we had. Thanks to his expertise, patience, and dedication, our dogs now live together peacefully, and we were able to keep both of our beloved pets. I can’t recommend Nick enough! We sent our one-year-old English Cream Golden Retriever, Huck, to him for training, and the transformation has been incredible. From the beginning, Nick was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure Huck was successful. He answered every question we had and made sure we were comfortable before using them. Seeing the results firsthand completely changed my perspective. When used correctly, they are incredibly effective and allow for clear, consistent communication with your dog. Nick also went above and beyond for our family. We were leaving the country while Huck was in training, and our dogsitter for our six-year-old Golden Retriever unexpectedly fell through. Without hesitation, Nick welcomed our older dog into his home so both of our boys could stay together. Knowing they were happy, safe, and so well cared for while we were away gave us incredible peace of mind, and it’s something we’ll never forget. Even after Huck came home, the support didn’t stop. Nick continued checking in to see how Huck was progressing, answered our questions, and even offers follow-up sessions in your own home so your dog can continue learning in their natural environment. That level of dedication is rare. We had a very positive and life-changing experience with Big Nick K9 training. Our 3 dogs were all with Nick for 6 weeks, and we couldn’t be happier with the progress they made.
